Telling your parents/teacher is also one of the worst things you can do. Sure, he'll stop when the teacher is there, but it'll be worse when the teacher isn't.

Fight him, show him that you've had enough. It's not about winning, it's about making him understand that you're not going to be pushed over by him anymore. As previously said, fight dirty if he's bigger and stronger than you. Go for the balls, throat, face etc.

I was myself such a bully ))...
Trust me no any waving fists in front of my nose would help... I could drop bullying only if I would have a respect to other or my future education would be under question (adults intervention)... This other should be minimum someone in da school... Either he must have good education level, or good friends, or reaching some sort of competitions with medals... Otherwise some crap glasses coming to me and waving his fists would just end up with some blood from his nose...
If he cornered him then he is more stronger... If you would try to beat him and phailed - you can set a big fat dot in your further fight against him...
