Who cares? People will just move on the next social network. Like two years ago MySpace was more popular and used more. Then, everyone moved to Facebook.

This example has absolutely nothing to do with Facebook and, for example, Google+.
MySpace had fundamental flaws in its design (mainly the fact that it had non-standardized pages and thus everyone's page was a clusterf**k) which Facebook just doesn't have. I'd be surprised if anyone but irritating hipsters moved to Google+, and people who don't use social networking at all are... questionable people at best. Something very fishy there.

And Facebook can sell my information all it wants. Seriously, go ahead. What can possibly be gained from that? Anything I genuinely want kept secret I don't put on bloody Facebook.

Social networks will always exist, and there will just come more and more.

Indeed even if they actually destroy Facebook which is actually not possible in my opinion since any solid or famous website has backups in case they lose their data, they can create Facebook again under another name with a new theme and whole new system however the owners will stay the same I guess.

If I want to talk to friends I prefer to talk to them in MSN or personally, instead of writing stuff for a dozen other unrelated people to read it so I can get z0mg attention = zomg internets. That does not make me a socially issued person. Unless you are meaning ''socially wrong'' as in not going in with the rest of the bored crowd.

Anyway these attack groups could just be bluffing, I don't know...? Still it's not exactly something to be sure of, but it ain't something to underestimate either.

The advertisements are really invasive and they search them following a "keyword" pattern on your profile. Plus the all knowing eye thing.
They know your location. But we shouldn't complain at it because we all agreed to this.
