Google+ is a pile of shit that tries to copy Facebook but ends up being slower, with far fewer features, and crappy design decisions that make the thing considerably more difficult to use. I'm astonished that people are going to it, but I guess there are a lot of hipsters these days who will go to anything new even if it is worse.

I like none of the two so I chosed for the one who was more implemented in functions I use a lot such as the search engine, Google Docs and Google Mail.

How can that exactly be prevented? Sites like Facebook are free to use for everbody, so I'm not surprised a few of those scums used it to organize looting sessions and what not. However, on the plus side, thousands upon thousands of FB pages have been set up in support of the police, with people uploading pictures and together trying to identify rioters.

And the football firms are using it to organize defences for their cities, as well as what was mentioned above.

Yes they police have been which is good, but even though theres people on the police's side of Facebook theres still people who arnt and are using it to organise crime, but I think it's pretty obviouse that any social networking site iwll of course be used to organise crime at some point especially those with 'private' pages like Facebook where only people on your freinds list as such can see what your writing.

Of course it could happen, but then the people in-charge of Facebook would more than likely attempt to sue the British government or what ever association does close Facebook, theres the option to close Facebook or use it to locate the rioters, for example maybe Facebook should give governments some kind of administration rights to facebook to track down the people causing all the looting and riots and also ban then from using social networking sites of even worse the internet...

There's no point in arguing about Google+ and Facebook. Just use the one you like. I use facebook. Why? Mainly because of it's friendly user interface and the fact that all my friends use it. Barely anyone I know uses Google+ regularly (or cares about it).

Seeing as Facebook was created by a Hacker, and is currently run by a team of ex-hackers and computer programmings with a lot of skill. I have a feeling that if something happens the site will be down for like an hour at most, and most likely only in one country seeing as not every facebook profile from every country is hosted in one spot.

I hope facebook gets hacked or w/e soon. I really hate when people do not call to wish a friend happy birthday prefering to post on FB wall. That sucks so bad. Also, some dumbs using FB to be in relationship.
