Hello everyone.

I'd like to ask this simple question. Is it allowed to give a bullet of a weapon to someone else in order that he gets a full new weapon? Example he gives 1 M4 bullet and the other persons gets a whole weapon and doesn't need to buy the weapon, only ammo. Common sense should dictate it's script abuse however I haven't encountered anyone who was punished for this. I would most likely appreciate if players / admins say their opinions and not if it's alllowed or not, and let managers decide about this.

Thank you for reading.

Few days ago, one officer requested me to give him one bullet, I didn't realy know why but now I know and I shouldn't repeat it again.

In my opinion it is yes abuse though people can easily avoid buying the original weapon from the ammunation.

I do not count it as abuse. I count it as the way SA works.
When you run out of ammo, you lose your gun. So when you get 1 ammo, you get it back. Simple as that.
I'll agree to disallow this the day when we can keep our weapons even though we have 0 ammo.

Most of the gun loss is related to death in the server.

I never counted this as abuse though..

A question to something that was already spotted by developers over a year ago...

Yes it is script abuse.

No you will not be punished for it.

Do not roleplay a veteran on discord, be a veteran in game.

I don't know about you, but I don't toss away my weapon just because it's out of ammo.  :D

It's like, if you abuse it, you don't respect the scripters team, the server..

Excatly. In roleplay terms if you run out of ammo you just buy more ammunition and hold on to your weapon. However GTA automatically makes you loose the weapon. Someone giving you a bullet to get more ammo should be fine really...

He means the script was not intended / made with that feature thought of, but there's nothing wrong with doing it..

That, and the fact that it is close to impossible for admins to actually keep track of it.
