What do you think about smoking cigarettes?

As the title says: what do you think about smoking?

I'm a smoker myself, and I think it's okay. Some people say people who smoke are like, not neat or arrogant (is that even a english word? lol) or whatever. I think this is bullshit, you can't talk about people like that just because he or she smokes a few cigarettes per day.

I frankly dont care if people smoke or not. what i DO care about is people smoking around people who do not smoke. There is a reason i dont smoke and its because its un-healthy, and i dont need that smoke blowing in my face. Thank god Canada made it illegal to smoke in a public place.


China and new York have a smoking ban where you can only smoke in your own home, everywhere else its not allows. I agree with that law to be perfectly frank.

I hate smoking. Why anyone would want to do this to their body is beyond me. Smoking killed my grandma and it's slowly killing my grandpa. I don't mean to offend anyone, but it just bothers me.

My father is smoking over 45 years, he passed cancer twice and he still smokes 1 pack/day.

I know the consequences so I try to smoke as less as possible. But I haven't been thinking about stopping.

I hate it when kids from under the age of 16 are smoking just to look tough..

My brother smokes, he's an idiot and he should know not too seeming his Grandpa died from cancer about 5 years ago. I dislike smoking and people who smoke around others, there's my view.

I tried smoking because of curiosity and it has no point, didn't have any effect on me, I don't understand how do other people feel when they smoke but if it's the same with everyone, it's pointless

It is the mix of tobacco and marijuana that's dangerous while smoking weed. Remember that.
Consume pure weed instead, no tobacco.

..And by the way, shouldn't this topic be locked already? As my drug topic got locked after basically some hours. Even though I explained properly I wanted to teach people about each drugs. Amazingly hilarious if you ask me, that we can't have one open discussion about something that is a part of everybody's life on this planet. Weird isn't it.

Part of growing up isn't it? I mean everyone tries it sometime, atleast most of the people. Obviously it's not good but there's many things in this world that isn't good and many other ways to die aswell.

Yes, at least I did that many times in highschool. But I don't do it anymore.

First it's unhealthy and a bad habbit and second they cost shitload here, which means buying a packet everyday and you'll run out of cash for good.

Even though my father smokes cigarettes I never like being close to people who are smokers because I inhale the air, and it's even worse than smoking itself. Second reason would be my brother has Asthma and it's bad for his health so I don't even want to smoke near him.
