Linda Ellerbee, in association with Nick News, presented a show on television on September 1st for kids that were too young or yet to be born to teach them about what happened on September 11th, 2001. Although I do not agree with the facts that were given to us, even until today, this video shows a very detailed explanation (based on the general facts we know or believe) for those that were or still are too young to understand what happened nearly 10 years ago, resulting in one of the largest mass deaths in United States history. I found it, as it seems Nick News released it 3 days early onto the internet by mistake, and wanted to share it with some of our younger or confused users in order to give them an idea of what 9/11 is about, and why people are suddenly discussing it so much. Many people have been asking about it, not knowing what happened that day, so I feel this may help them. Feel free to check it out:

http://www.nick.com/videos/clip/nick-news-what-happened-the-true-story-of-september-11th-full-episode.html

Please note: It's 23 minutes, 29 seconds long, and contains some information that some users may find painful to watch or hear, especially if you were affected by the incidents.

Pretty cool.

I still remember the day like yesterday. I was about 5 years old, sitting in the room playing with my matchboxes and then I believe the news intereruppted about every channel and I remember everyone crying and looking shocked so I turn the corner to look at the TV and see the plane hit the WTC. Honestly all I remember from, it's one of the very few things I can remember from my childhood.

Hopefully sometime after it's "official" release onto the internet on the 6th, someone will upload it to YouTube. It received quite a bit of praise, and even being 21 years old myself, I thought it was still pretty good. Surprisingly they even mentioned some of the government's mistakes relating to the WMD BS in Iraq, which surprised me. Most mass-media wouldn't dare teach that to kids because it makes the government look bad lol...

If they actually connected the 9/11 attacks to what happened in Iraq, that is already a factual mistake.
If it will be available outside the US I will be happy to comment on what facts were turned and twisted, as my memory is not too shabby for an old guy... :gan:

I was eight years old at the time of the attacks. What I could remember is watching a live emergency news broadcast (international news obviously, since I live in southeast asia) that showed the twin towers on fire. Then I saw the planes.

The most important part is interacting with others and meeting people from around the world.

I'm hoping it will be. Would love for everyone else to have access to it. In all honesty though, I personally believe 9/11 was a bunch of BS. I've seen way too much to believe what was in the government's so-called investigation :P

You make me feel so old now lol. I was 11 when it happened. I remember waking up that morning, wondering why my mom hadn't gotten me up yet. I went into her room to see what was going on as the news was showing that the first plane had just hit one of the WTC towers. My sister came in and we were watching it, and a couple minutes later, the second plane hit the other tower...on live news. I also remember one famous camera scene where a cameraman was near one of the towers as it collapsed. I found out around 9/11 last year that he was killed by the falling rubble, but I will admit his shot was definitely amazing. All you saw was dust and rubble in a giant cloud barreling towards the camera until it went blank.

Seeing what I've seen from that horrific day, it was definitely life-changing growing up. Still to this day I think about the aftermath of the Ground Zero scenes...emergency vehicles and bodies abandoned, covered in dust...people running by with masks on screaming and bleeding...it's a memory I will never be able to forget.

Funny how such a ''terrorist act'' (violence) is excessively propaganda'ed yet games like Grand Theft Auto receive huge butthurt'ism because of its ''violent content''.

It's cause dumb people fear that other dumb people will re-enact the events in the game in real life, and go on a killing spree or run over an old lady with a station wagon. It's just sad :P

Everyone who has ever played GTA:SA has flown an AT-400 or a Nevada into the Los Santos Star Tower.

9/11 is actually the reason why GTA III has no flyable vehicles, and why MANY things were removed before the game's completion, eventually even causing many HQ graphics and awesome features yet to be completed to be removed due to the sudden time constraints thanks to the changes 9/11 brought about. These changes have even trickled down to other GTA games, including IV, and are still present today because of it. It's also the same reason why Liberty City in GTA IV doesn't have flyable planes. GTA III's Beta was amazing. There were so many things that would've put it ahead of it's time, including some rendered graphics that were good enough to compete with GTA IV...and 9/11 ruined it because the company didn't want to insult those killed and get sued.

@Que: Watch the movie online called "Loose Change" if you haven't already. I won't state my opinions here on what I believe happened, but with the things I've seen, including far beyond that movie, I'm disgusted to even exist in this world.

Alright, I will. I'm currently watching "Zeitgeist - The Movie" right now.
It's about USA as well and all this shit, the start of it has been incredibly good if you haven't seen it.

That's a great movie...definitely an eye-opener. Part II of it also contains some footage and narration from Loose Change.
