I think its a good idea to make police officers, taxi or medics a pay time. For example policeofficers 10$ per 5minutes, taxi 8$, medics 7$ or something.  :money: Because to police its hard to make suspect give up, taxi drivers to find customers and medics to heal someone  :pop:

They shouldn't get money if they're not doing anything. There'd be people going on police duty, then idling waiting for these paydays.

Indeed, people would also abuse it staying AFK for hours.

My point of view: work to get your money!

Not good in my opinion, the idea of system we're already using is correct.

To add to this, the idea has been unfortunately denied in SA:MP several times for issues similar to the ones brought up here, among many others, hence why they and other Argo servers don't follow this system.

It unfortunately goes against the Argonath Vision, and also presents the issue where users could sit around on duty, not AFK, just patrolling, and get money for not doing any work, where-as someone else could work their butt off, haul in a ton of criminals, and still make the same amount. Excluding Freecops from anything relating to RP also goes against the Argonath Vision.

Although I see your point in this, it would still go against the Argonath Vision to allow this to happen, just as the other script disallowing duty without a passport was an issue.

No worries man, I understand. I'm not trying to attack your statements, just giving my thoughts as well.

There aren't plans for salaries or such. I don't think any payment from this kind will be added anyway.

Patrolling is the main task of police officers in a roleplay server. ArgonathRPG is, as the name says, an RPG, rather than a Cops'n'Robbers server.

Definitely wont support this as it is easy enough to get a decent payment out of cop job. Why should people get payed for slacking off on duty? You dont need a payment to patrol, you should patrol to discover law breaks and suspect them for breaking laws. And once the carhp bug is fixed the cop job can make very good payment. I think I m not mistaking when i say that some people have earned over 200k a month with cop job. When i first joined server i was an active cop like many newcomers now and i got pretty decent payment i must say. And dont forget that the purpose of the game is to have fun not getting a virtual job

Besides all, this would destroy every RP things on server, everybody would be cop driving around to earn  some  :money:
