Pre-load is when they release the game files before the actual game, so those with the slower internet speeds can download it earlier and play on the release day.

Pirates aren't cool . But anyways, there's no running away from piracy.. the best thing the developer can do is make sure pirated games aren't fun to play, and probably impossible to play online...

The reason piracy grows is the greed of game developers, people who cant afford the game but are a fan can pirate it, ofc there are a few losers who just wanna get everything free, but trust me, most pirates would rather buy the copy but are having some kind of a problem...
Do you think it not costs the pirates?to crack games it costs them, to run them it costs em.Matter of fact the alteriw(cracked version of MW2) pays more for its servers than IW itself.

It's not greed if they want to get paid for what they work HARD on. It's not easy developing a game such as MW3, so developers do it expecting a pay. Yet some people crack it and release for next-to-nothing or even free. It's just wrong. If I would ever get a pirated game, it would be some very old game, so I can just have something to kill time with.

Actually, the bigger pirate groups(ones that actually have noticeable impact) respect this, for example alteriw was release 2 years after MW2 release, and black ops cracked is only scheduled to release a few months after MW3.

So they don't want to buy the game when it's at the 60-70 dollar mark: understandable, but two years later when it's like $30 (like MW2 is now), they crack it?... That's like sitting with your tongue out waiting for 2 hours for a pie to bake in the oven... then eating a banana.

MW2 is still 60$ btw.
And yes, they crack it when it is far off from being bought, so that the people who have SP but cant play MP can play MP after barely anyone is left to buy it, no damage done by online cracking.
And 60$ or 30$, it is still a problem.
A variety of problems may occur which stops them from it, such as inability to make transactions online, problems with the bank, problems with their parents e.t.c, it not always about pirates just saving their cash, there will always be assholes, but there will be more who actually respect it..

$60?  lol.

I could pick up MW2 brand new for 15 pound, that equals to roughly $21 (using xe.com).  Your country must severely rip you off if a two year old game is still at the price it was when it was first released.

This game looks so much better than Black Ops and is definatly going to be part of my active collection.

BO isnt a good game for comparasion. BO was completly crap besides the campaign which is always top of the top in COD series.

Don't compare a Treyarch game to a Inifinity Ward game.  Just doesn't work.

Why even get the Hardended Edition?
Elite is just for the hardcore CoD fans who live, breathe and sleep CoD.  Not for the folk who are causals and only play a few hours a night if that with friends.

I played CoD since the Big Red One on PS2. The difference between Black Ops is big, yes, but it still remains as Call of Duty. Then still, now suddenly we call it difference, but then again we have those 'Battlefield fanboys' telling me Call of Duty is always the same?

Modern Warfare 2 was a good game, still not to be compared with what I currently seen with Modern Warfare 3, Mw3 will be different in a very positive way.

It gives you several advantages for your clan, perhaps you didn't notice that WS has a full-active gaming clan on the PS3 aswell, even more active than the SA:MP division. These clan functions will come in handy for us as a whole clan, apart from that Call of Duty Elite is saves you more cash if you're planning to buy all expansions anyway.

Apart from that, For someone who played so many CoD's, it's nice to have a collector's item

I like COD and Battlefield, and I prefer BF, but I never say COD is always the same. The Campaign is always different and funner than other FPS's Campaigns. If you have alot of friends playing the same game as you, and you're able to play with them together, you should buy the expansion pack with extra maps or whatever it includes. Playing with your friends is the funnest thing to do in video games, So I think you made a good choise buying that elite package thing.

Btw I all COD's except 2 or 3, dont remember. :P
The best cods were the 1st 4, about WWII.

Ah well if you have a fully functional active clan who plays CoD fair enough, Elite would be somewhat helpful for you.
Most DLC IW provide isn't exactly special, I bought both MW2 DLC's and both were a letdown, half the maps were from COD4 and not even the good one's.

I'd love to have a MW3 map-pack including a few MW2 maps such as - Terminal, Favela, Skidrow and Highrise.
