I'm talking about syncing arm movements as in /chat when you talk outside of a car,/engine getting back, ability to lock a bike(Yes, I'm sick of the f**ked up script that allows people to drive locked bikes, seriously), custom interiors etc.
You can /chat while talking. Is it that much of a hassle to use an extra command? And besides, not everyone waves his hands while talking, so that would be forcing characters into actions.
Engine wass hardly useful, you can just /me + /carlights and you get pretty much same effect. Only practical use of /engine I saw, was for parking helicopters so the rotors wouldn't chop people.
As for bike carlocks, have you even bothered to report it as a bug report, so scripters improve it? Sure, you might assume "they know about it", but they also have other things to do, and most likely just tick off report by report off thier list.

With no style-binded radios like Hip-Hop only,Reggae only,Rock/Metal only ones, with DJs being a few and you can't actually listen to it while In Game without a program running such as your browser or a media player.
It still does not affect actual game-play.

[...]jobs[...]
This is San Andreas Multiplayer. Note the "Multiplayer" in the name.
And I actually never liked the fireman missions anyway, because they don't have enough multiplayer in them.

I can open my bar, but I only do it for Roleplay as /ad costs 500$ which cuts all of my income, okay, fine, I need to put my fee to 500$ and basically say "Closed to poor people".
I don't see the relation in this point to sitting all day doing nothing and earning money from it. Also you can earn money not only from owned business properties.

True that, but lets say I want to buy a whisky at a bar and drink it? I only get a beer or wine. I Roleplay I have a mask, oh wait, I dont, if I rob someone with a mask he just takes a shotgun OUT OF HIS ASS and shoots me. / me is not used, just scroll down. Where's the RP here?
Typical moan, dependancy on scripts and addicted to habits (of demanding other players to do what you want or expect them to do, ie. forced role-play) from other servers.
I /buy wine but use /me drinks tequilla. How hard is it to assume that a something is something else?
You are well aware that everyone can see you, if you just assume the other guy has to not see you because you role-play having a mask, then you should get recorded for Argonath's Funniest Home Videos as a fail robber. You should adjust to current environment, not demand others to adjust to you (and then blame them for not doing it).
And how does /me make the gun not come out of the ass? That's how GTA works, it has no animations of taking out/holstering weapons. Deal with it and move along.

And other communities have 300/400 players online in peak hours while Argonath has 160 in good days :P
I doubt all are actual people playing the game. Especially if your money just raises for rotting in the bank.

Just a question, have you ever been on any of the servers?

300/400 players... many of those probably won't stay and if they do, they will be busy brown nosing the SA:MP development as i hear some of them play on those servers, Or they are using plugins which will soon get them blacklisted for good. It would be all but impossible for the player count to reach 300 above here due to having only 200 slots, 200 of which is enough and always will be.

Yes, they are all edits of each other.

AFAIK Argonath pushes SAMP to its limits.

They didn't even fix the glasses, which were added a long time ago.

Just face it,we're not pushing anything to anything.

What's wrong with the glasses commands? Please go and report the bug in the correct section.

I don't think you have noticed, but since they were added the only way to remove them are either to /q or /kill...Fuck yeah, we pushed it to the limit! We can't even remove glasses!

I don't mean silly little addons and eye candy like glasses. I mean the big stuff. Weren't we the first Server to have dynamically set properties?

I know the scripters are not mind readers, in fact no one is a mind reader. Things can only be resolved if people are actually aware them to begin with. Fairy's are non existant, things will not become instantaneously fixed at the click of a finger or tap of a shoe.

Yes 9r2e5i3k(...), you are correct there. I think the Argonath SA:MP server was the first for dynamic everything to be honest.

Now think about how many of them are actually dedicated and stay. Just because their name is on the top of the list doesn't mean anything. I can already think of at least one strict RP server that Kye himself plays on, and has been giving special attention to, hence it being number 1 on the list of players. That doesn't make it special, that just means people see it first. Keep in mind as well, Argonath RPG is MUCH more than just SA:MP. Our community is large and proud to be a part of the Argo name because we offer diverse, free roleplay that's not necessarily heavily restricted to the bounds of real-life like other servers are. If you add up our dedicated users from every server, and compare them to the single servers those communities have, we have MANY more dedicated players than they do have registered ones. The difference is our's come back ;)

This "other" RP server got a very big community, and a lot of players (yes, players who actually play, not just be there). Furthermore if you compare our community with theirs, there's a big difference. Argonath the community is extremely peerless, and also unique to the fullest, which makes it nearly impossible to even compare these two. That's how good our community is compared to theirs.

When it comes to in-game related stuff, these two are like black and white. I'm pretty much a veteran on both servers, and it's basically "you like what tastes best for you". Some people are more amused by Argonath and its preeminent visions, some people are more amused by strict and realistic vision and gameplay. Nonetheless; I believe that you should be respectful regardless what you like, and stop being so disparaging against other visions and servers. Just in the same way you don't want to have the vice versa.

Argonath is very unique as it's one of the few that don't force RP
To me, it's pretty lame to even reject any role-play scenario whatever server you're playing on. It's unquestionably lame to be online, yet systematically reject others' role-play, no matter if it's a robbery or an inevitable fight, to be sincere.

I somewhat agree with you there. The only time I usually refuse to participate in a RP involving myself is when it's outrageously obvious that the user is doing it just to DM or purely get money for self-gain. Any other time I generally play along, even if it annoys me and I don't want to do it. In those cases I know the person is just trying to have fun, and I'm not against that by any means, so I'll basically force myself to have fun with them so we all have a good time. Sometimes I even end up enjoying it in the end. :)

AFAIK, car-jacking isn't allowed anywhere. By saying that "other RPG servers are a piece of shit except for Argonath," what are you referring to? It might be just me, but it looks like you prefer this server because you don't get caught rule-breaking here. Either that or you're just pissed off as a result of having your application denied.

Or maybe we play here because we prefer this style of roleplay because no other community has it? If you are saying people only play here because they can't get into other communities, maybe you should go find another one. People play in Argo because we have fun, not because there's no application to join. Plenty of other RPG communities don't do applications to join, and yet we are here instead.

Lol'd at BlackEagle. /o

Haven't visited another server for a very long time now and I really don't miss anything! :) The strictness over there gets tiring after a bit! There's massive difference between Argonath and the other community.. but I'd say, I enjoy playing here more.. as I consider it my home.. :)
