People enjoy spending extra money so their PC can 'look' good. I've never seen a point either.

My computers case fans had LED's when I bought it, they broke as soon as I detached the side panel to fit my GTX 650, 1 year on and now both the case fans are broken completely, or burnt out rather..

Save your LED's for Christmas.
