Yes; I had just re-installed windows and the getting ready shit was for the windows 8.1 update; and the PC side is only off because I was too lazy to put the case back on after installing a new SSD last night.

The mic it self isn't that big; The mic is about $80, the shock mount (around it) is $49.99, the boom stand is $100 and the pop filter was $20. Setup is well worth it! I do a lot of TeamSpeak stuff and other recording based stuff as well so the quality is nice.
