Right, so I don't have a TV and I wanna play my beloved PS4 again. The monitor on the right is where I will be playing it.

Yes you are right, the monitor does not have HDMI option. I will be using a HDMI to VGA adapter to send the signal from the PS4 to the monitor.

Yes you are correct again, the monitor does not have speakers therefore I will be using my PC ones. I have the option to insert my personal headphones (with mic) or plug in the speakers. They will be plugged through the controller pad.

It's all messy (wire wise) but it will be all fixed when I get the adapter. Everything will be tied together so it's neater except for the laptop charger I usually take it with me to bed or when I go library for some college work.

Maybe later I'll buy a wireless keyboard and mouse so I don't have to lunge over to the laptop keyboard (limited space on the left hand side due to the PS4)

I doubt that speaker will do anything bad to the console?

My new build I put together a few months ago. Basically just new parts from my old computer in a new case with a few modifications. It's also no longer set upon the ground beside the desk, but on top of the desk at the back. There is also a minor cabling system with cableties holding them together to the poles on the desk to prevent my feet from wrapping around in them.

I have like 2 2TB Western Digital HDDs in the bay at the back, a 750 GB Toshiba laptop HDD next to my 250 GB Crucial SSD, with a miniserver in my bedroom running another 2 TB WD HDDs as a media server for music and movies for my household which we upload to so we can watch stuff on the Ps3 hooked up to the TV in the lounge room
