Rule Breakers and Admins...

I think the Kicking People For Moaning Should stop... If the admins Would take the time to ask them what is problem and look into the Moaning might actually stop but No they .. kick Someone to piss them off then They would come back and flip out witch Counts to someone being tempbanned witch don't seem right and unfair For other players to break a rule the admins to ignore them and punish the person making the complaint.. If this is consider complaining Oh Well.. Argonath is losing good Players do to Admins not Doing there job or .. Just deciding what should be right kicking someone or banning them to make there self feel better....

As an admin that is their job to do. kicking moaner that is right what about for Ex there is 2 moaner fighting on mainchat. and some other people just sittin there reading it and they dont like all that spam from chat. thats why admins is kicking them for moaning. and they flooding the mainchat too. Same goes for everyone on argo. and sorry to say if u dont like what admin/mod are doing feel free to report them onto the Manager or owner of Argo. about this.

I come here to play, not to listen to other people b1tch about what they disagree. An admin is selected because they are seen to be fit to carry out their duties, they do a good job of it. They have to handle heaps of reports, they also do not have the time to hear you bi tch in main chat. Do it the right way (once... don't flood their reports or PM's) and solve the problems that way or just let it go, its a game seriously life will carry on, the sun will still rise, the water will still flow it isn't the end of the world.

Why are you moaning and bickering in mainchat in the first place? If your tired of being so called "abused" by admins then refrain from breaking the server rules which haven't changed from 2006 when Argonath was first created, and you especially deserve to be kicked or tempbanned if your a player that been here for a few months.

I stopped reading there. You have no fucking idea how hard it is to manage over 80 players when you're the only moderator on the server. About 30 percent of all reports are bullshit like, "He stole mah weed, punish him" or "he no rp". Seriously. Then we have others spamming the reports. When moderators/admins /on the report, we DO look into it. We don't just drop it. If we see nothing wrong, or cannot prove, we will revert to original state. We are not required to tell you our actions. We decide based on skill and the skill we earned based on previous cases. So if you would spend the time not moaning about how fucking bad admins/moderators are and actually tried to resolve the issue yourself in a professional manner, then the server would be a better place. But constantly giving bad reputation to admins for not "taking the time" is only ignorance and is discouraged. Take the time to analyze this before stating false facts.

It might look for you that we are kicking players instantly, but in 99% of the cases, there is so much more behind it. Like yesterday, i was in a situation where a player refused to go to jail because he was saying he was innocent. I tried up to 10 times to get the player to get to the jail or he would be admin jailed for a long time. I tried with giving him multiple options that he could do if he thought he was jailed without a reason. He rejected every option that i gave him with the reason that he was innocent. Then he did the opposite and started to attacking the officers. I admin jailed him for 5 minutes because of resisting jail and attacking after giving up and unsuspected him. He then started a shitstorm in the public chat and when i told him to drop the shitstorm, he refused to so i simply tempbanned him for 60 minutes.

Please rething next time before you post a message like this, because it's simple, you dont really know the reasons behind the kicks / tempbans.

Edit: Saw your post about bananas, i tried to banana this player around 5 times without success.

Be sure admins are investigating before they use their power to someone. They don't punish for no reason or because someone else told them to.

Hi Fellas,

There are a few things here that players do not realise, especially when they see a friend kicked. They see only one part of the situation. The same can go for Admins, let me explain.

Player A commits a rule-break whilst playing with player B. Player B is used to this on /local chat and so finds it not offensive or an issue. Player A continues to commit the rule-break getting to the point where it needs intervention.

Player A then gets a penalized by the admin and Player B finds the admin at fault.

Moaning Scenario:

Player A moans ( usually for the most part attention seeking, else why would they moan in public chat to start off with ).

Player B & C stand by player A and just let it happen.

Admin has to step in and calm the situation down. Player A refuses or ignores Admin.
End result - Player A Gets kicked by the admin for not obeying.

Many would criticize this because Player A might be having a bad day or Admin may have many requests at the same time or Player B & C may aggravate Player A and so will start moaning to others.

In General you need to have a look at the reasons behind it and simply telling someone that people should not get kicked for moaning is not enough. Likewise Admins should not kick others for no reason. But have you ever thought ? sometimes Admins need help off players like yourself ?

New Scenario:

Player A starts moaning, Player B tells Admin that they had a bad day and so feels the need to shout out. Admin understands this and due to the help of player B only gives Player A a warn because Admin has new understanding.

Think of how you could help Admins and instead make ArgonathRPG the way its supposed to be.

This is a simple issue.

As a very calm player, I can say that I am able to bear most of the rulebreakers without bugging the admins.
I always try to PM rulebreakers and speak to them normally which helps in most of the cases,
or simply try to avoid them next time.

BUT, when it comes to the point where I report someone, its almost the same everytime.

Some admins claim they see EVERYTHING. (I remember a kick for me saying "Theres a spectator mode, you know!!! - when I said he wasnt even there when it happened)
While other admins say they cant see everything, and especially cant punish for something they cant see (which is right).

With that being said, we get to the real point of argueing in mainchat / PM.

How is an admin decision NOT QUESTIONABLE, when he is not even able to see everything? (esp. when server is at 120+ players)
Why dont you READ the "moaning" in the first place instead of saying "STOP MOANING!".
And this is not just on public chat (where you SHOULDNT post this at all) but also in PMs where admins tell you the same, with the advice to "drop it or be punished".

When you got kicked after mainchat flood / moaning / flaming or whatever, you should at least have the option to defend yourself and take a normal statement that will be heard.
They claim to be correct with every decision they make and wont allow you to talk back, even if THEY are the ones who start argueing. If you dare to question the punishment, get kicked in the butt, no matter if youre talking normally with good reasons or not.

I hope I could make my point clear a bit.

Mainchat - Taboo for reports. Especially when youre pissed.
But still, admins cant see everything and they cant be right with every decision.
Its not because theyre admins, its because were just humans.
I am just talking for me right now, because I have experienced those situations.

Well, I wasnt there that moment, but I was involved in a situation like this before.
When you claim to be innocent and youre obviously ignored with your statement about what happened, ofcouse you start to get pissed.
You start to think that the cops (& admins who support the cops) are biased and are not interested in the truth, but their wallets.
Were you really able to judge wether he was guilty or not?
Maybe he was right and got abused by cops. (which is not reportable ingame)
In that case he had to be jailed for something he didnt do, AND make a report on SAPD/ARPD (which most people refuse for good reason)

If I was 14years old and lost my temper with the reason stated before, Id prolly ragekill everyone too rather than getting jailed for something I didnt do.


Now to recap:

I am not offending the SA:MP administration.
Actually I admire the ability of some admins to be very patient with their, sometimes very rude and annoying, players.
But sometimes I feel like admins are truly biased and ignorant about your opinion, and your person.
I remember an admin saying "I know people like you, telling everything just to get their point across". How do you rate that?

I hope I wasnt rambling too much.
Please dont ban me for having an opinion about things Ive experienced.

I understand that a player can get pissed and i'm doing my best to clear out the situation for the best of everyone, but i still can not unsuspect a player which claims that he's innocent simply because i wasn't there when it all happend. In those situations, i always instruct the player to follow the officers to get jailed, then report the officers in question if they wish to on the ARPD forum.

But, being pissed off still dosen't allow players to break any rules. If a player break rules when for an example i have tried to make so the player is calming down, the player will still get punished.

Engaging and attempting to provoke will not help your case. As I said (and added more by Zaila) a lot of our work is behind the scenes and you ALWAYS have the option to private message the admin CALMLY for an explanation.
