I want to start playing IV:MP. And I got a few questions.
Is there any browser or such for IV?
Do I need any special crack or patch?

You need GTA IV patch 1.0.7.0 (I think its the latest one), and IVMP T3, link: http://files.iv-multiplayer.co.uk/01/downloads.php?f=IVMP-0.1-T3.zip
