Another GTA SA Problem..

I recently reinstalled GTA SA..but i keep getting this error, can someone help me..

Is this when your installing the game?

are you installing the game in the patrition E:\Here?   Not in any other folder? If yes try finding another copy of GTA installation.Sorry if i am wrong  :roll:

Ohhh, fuck.
If thats during installation, go get yourself a new GTA SA disk...that is what I had to do...

Though I tried some disk fixing things, and that worked a couple of times:
- Hold the readable side of the disk towards a UV lamp for a max of 30 seconds, about 4 inches away.

That worked for me the first time. Second time:
- Ran the disk under hot-ish water for about 10 seconds, and left it to try by sunlight by my window.

3rd time, none worked. I can still use the disk to run gta_sa.exe, but it won't install. I got a new disk.

My guess is that the disc is simply broken

Well i got the problem during install...not only with the disk but with the.....'non disk' one also :s

The problem is that your disk might be damaged, and your PC can't read the data files from it.
You already legally bought a copy, so you have all right to download one.
Get one with good feedback. I will PM you a link if you need one.
