His death has made many people happy, for that reason, I'm glad he's gone.

This is a very controversial topic.

Many of us are unaware of the actions that actually took place, this is most likely for a good reason. Let's keep the negativity out, he was still a human, and there are people out there who are mourning his death. Lets give them that peace, with out the harsh disrespect.

Isn't this politically related tho? ( disallowed? )
This isn't light politics, we're talking major crimes against humanity. However, people should be allowed to air the condolences for his death, and leave out the highly controversial issues relating to his political movements.

That's a shit reason to support something and you have, quite frankly, lost all respect from me.

I hope you realise the outright stupidity you've displayed here.

But this whole situation doesn't surprise me in the least. A few years back, most world leaders supported Gadaffi. I guess he just didn't really agree with the whole 'democracy' prospect. The same happened in Iraq, and now it seems as though Lybia will inevitably face the same fate.

To be honest, I couldn't give two fucks about what's happened, I never took interest in the whole matter, and I don't see people are getting worked up about this, but thats just me.

All I knew what he was a dictator.

Who is this person?

Someone that's been alot on the news lately.

I don't know the actual story of Kadaffi and Libya, why people suddenly wanted democracy and turned against Kadaffi. I didn't knew about the Colonel until the war itself where Kadaffi was described as a dictator with no interest in his own citizens.
However, that's what the news tells me. I cannot say wether their story is directly the complete one. I didn't get the part where America and Europe suddenly invade the country to provide assistance with airstrikes, but I suppose that's politics.

I can't neither be happy or sad about the death of Kadaffi, yet I find it rather a disgrace for the Colonel's honour to show a picture of him death or whatever it was all around the world, even on TV. Nobody, even the most terrific person on earth does not deserve that.
I truly hope the best for Lybia and that the right thing has been done.

He was there 46 years with exactly the same way, civil war, I guess people need change after some time.

Strange thing, how I met Ghaddafi was in a football game, the commenter said that he owned some stocks in Juventus

I never tracked the news with a lot of interest when it was about Libya. I only find it disturbing that the NATO chose to aid rebels (or freedom fighters) rather quickly and Syria is still in worse shit... Without the NATO anywhere near.
