Not necessarily. Like I said, Walcott is better used as a substitute towards the end of the game when the defenders are tired. Then, he can simply breeze past them and set up a ton of goal scoring opportunities like he did against Sweden.

If Walcott wasn't so unreliable and inconsistent in previous games and generally at the start of matches, then I might have agreed with you.

The thing with Walcott, is he's kind of in a cycle at the moment; he plays well, and earns himself a starting position, but in the following match fails to follow through with his performance. If he wants to move beyond, he has to prove that there's more to his game than just getting the ball and using his pace. His touch and passing at times has greatly let both himself and the team down at crucial moments.

I personally think he will be in the starting XI against Ukraine. Hopefully he impresses enough to solidify his starting position, because when Walcott is playing well, he's unstoppable.

He should be starting from beginning, so he gets his game going, sometimes he might not get it going after being subsituted, most likely he will be able to play around 15 mins then.
