How come you guys did not see that coming? Yes sure, maybe me neither but we were champions 8 years ago. Was the referee against Russia, no, did we play bad, no? Now I am hoping we face Germany in the quarter finals, even though it's going to be a difficult match I have my hopes high, just like with Russia.

Greece has been woeful throughout the entire tournament thus far. 2004 was a long time ago, and looking at the Greece then compared to the Greece now, it seems even more remarkable that you won.

The first half was all Russia - their counter-attacks were deadly and so fast. Whenever you managed to get the ball off of them, you gave it away almost instantly. The second half was much more balanced however. I guess at the end of the day, it's Russia's fault for not capitalizing on all their chance; in fairness to Greece though, their defence held firm.

Russia and Poland definitely didn't deserve this.
Russians were aggressive during the whole game,they were sure that they gonna take 3 points and that's what cost them the game..
