Why not?
There is a huge doubt on them winning. I'd see Spurs or Newcastle win before them. With Drogba leaving, their going to need a real good restructure.

Pretty sad that Drogba left... Well Torres woke up finally, he even got himself a golden shoe on euro...

Well, you're right, just like -I think I said this before- Fabregas and Nasri leave, so was it about time for Van Persie. If I remember well, these three players were not as good as they are today and we will have to do the same with Podolski and Giroud. I'm not mentioning these two because they're the only good transfers I've seen so far, but specifically because after Van Persie leaves, they will most likely play 4-4-2 (I remember someone saying that before). So let's see where this takes us to. Besides, I don't believe ManCity to be a title defender either, but they've got good chances though ...

First of all, Man City struggled till the last minute of the season to win the trophy even though ManU's squad was SO bad. Unless Man City actually learns what "classic" means, I doubt they will make another miracle. Chelsea already got Marine and Hazard, and it is also going for Hulk right now.
I believe Torres will do good enough without Drogba as well.
It wont be easy for any of the teams to win the next season.

Hulk is only getting sold for 100 Million Euros, which I don't think Chelsea have such a fund to spend on only one player nor will want to.

Yes, they had a hard time at the few games at the end of the season but if you look at their past games and home record, they did excellent.

Even though City is still winning next season, having RVP would make it even more kick-ass. Oh boy if he signs with city..
Calm down cityboy, they cant even offer a salary that RvP would accept. And most likely Hulk wont be for sale.

I wouldn't be so sure. If it wasn't for the fact that United was so poor towards the end of the season and dropped so many points (the Wigan game being the start of a downward spiral for them) then they would be champions right now.

It's going to be an even closer season than the last - big teams have already made top signings, and we've only just entered July. Arsenal have got Podolski and Giroud, United have got Kagawa, Chelsea have captured Hazard and Tottenham have lured Sigurdsson away from Liverpool. Even with these teams bolstering their squads, we can't forget the likes of Newcastle and Everton who caused a lot of upsets last season and played some fantastic football.

By no means have City already won it. It's going to be one hell of a challenge to hold onto the title.

I think Ian Wright has perfectly summed up my feelings towards the Arsenal situation: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport/football/article4413106.ece

Not so sure about that, Podolski can also play as a Left Winger, and there's always walcott who plays as a Right Winger. But, we'll have to see, walcott can be a super-sub and be put in when there's 20-30 minutes left to the game, and absolutely destroy the defence with his pace and dribbling. Just hoping Giroud and Podolski will step up from their performance in the Euros.

"The boss said last season there was no way he would allow his star striker to move to City after losing Nasri, Clichy, Toure and Adebayor to them in the last three years."

God damnit.

Is it true that Vermaelen is getting transfered to Barcelona for 32m? I almost fell of the chair when reading it.

That he will try his best not to sell RVP to Manchester City.
