Racism, personal attacks and abusive language is present in every game of football as a means of rattling your opponent - does Suarez's actions that day make him a racist person? No. I'm sure Evra himself has dished out some less-than-kind comments in his career.

It isn't nice and it is a problem, but unfortunately when it comes to competetive football and players fighting for those 3 points or a place in the next stage of a tournament, sometimes their competetive edge and anger gets the better of them.

Also, it's kind of funny that Suarez recieved his punishment based on Evra's account of the situation, yet John Terry walked free despite video evidence. My feelings on the Terry case is another that I feel is blown out of proportion, but when you weigh the punishments both men recieved for similar allegations, you'll see why I find the Suarez situation to be complete bullshit.

I'm not condoning such behaviour, but I just found your prior comment a littlle void of recognition that racism is a problem that occurs throughout English football. It's a shame that the Suarez incident has gained Liverpool such a reputation.

You should know that not every footballer does that. That's why Suarez's action was stirring.

This is why Liverpool is England's finest.. Passion, power, pride, glory.. Even if Manchester gets everything this year, they still won't achieve what Liverpool has.

You forgot one thing. They also have racism. Sorry, had to point that out.

Like Suarez represents anything except himself, and club and fans has anything to do with it. Like those things doesn't happen in all other clubs in Europe, not to mention England. And like that's not a social problem of the country itself, not to mention the whole world. Where ever you pick on the globe, you'll find racism there.

Then you have inferred wrong. If you read the last part of my post, you would have seen that I said I do not condone such behaviour, and that racism is indeed a huge problem in football. I know that not every player does it, but you don't see a great deal of the words exchanged between players during matches. If you've ever played a competetive game of football for a club or something you'll know that players say whatever to try and get to you.

I've never had much respect for John Terry either. He's a fantastic player but he's just a complete prick.
