This guy above me is a steelers fan, make him pay for that, not for the fact that he interrupts us with eggball.

Rick, I could help you out with that if necessary.

Our board has almost pushed me to the point of giving up with Arsenal. We now lose Song, one of our best players last season, to Barcelona for a measly £15m? He is worth way more than that and Barcelona can more than afford it. But hey, I guess it doesn't matter what the transfer fee is because I can guarantee that we won't be seeing any of that money being put into the transfer funds.

Also, I didn't see the match but going by Wenger's post-match interview, he was pretty pissed at the team - especially the new signings who, judging by his attitude, played fucking shit.

You were yelling at me not long ago for saying that I didn't show pride of being a City fan when they were bad, yet here you are, almost giving up on Arsenal because they're getting rid of another player? Well done.. Arsenal fan.

I saw the match, we had some few good chances, Giroud had an horrible miss, which had to be a goal.. podolski wasnt good.. giroud.. as I said, missed a great oppurtunity, Cazorla was accutally good, the best on the pitch today , Gervinho was surprisnly not as bad as he was last year. Mertsacker is still a golem, he made a few holes that almost made us conceed a goal, but thank god we have one of the goalkeepers in the world. Gibbs was quite good, Jenkison was Ok.. Diaby was bad. Arteta was ok, Walcott couldnt handle sunderland's bunker, he cant play like that, he needs space to use his pace.. ( oo a rhyme ) ramsey wasnt a big of a different when he was subbed in, niether were Arhasavin and Giroud. And that's the sum up of the game for you. We are completly screwed without song or wilshere. Cazorla and Arteta are not the same.

At which point did I state it was because they were 'bad'? I will always stick by Arsenal no matter what, regardless of the results, even if we end up in League 2 or even further below.

because they're getting rid of another player?

Another player? Just another player, ey? Over the years now, our board has almost managed to sell our star players consecutively each season. Let's start from the 05/06 season, Robert Pires and Patrick Vieira; 06/07, Thierry Henry; 07/08, Fredrik Ljungberg; 09/10, Adebayor and Toure; 11/12, Fabregas, Nasri, Clichy and Eboue and to top it off, this year we off RVP and Song. This is not just a one-off incident that has got me rattled up, but a problem for Arsenal that has been occuring for many years now that is seemingly getting much worse.

I will always love Arsenal, but our joke of a board just isn't giving us anything apart from utter disappointment. I mean, just look at Man Utd: they don't even need RVP yet they took a shot and now have the strongest strike force in the Premier League. United fans cheer, whilst Arsenal fans sit in disbelief, wondering just how we managed to sell our captain and star player to our bitter rivals.

Thank you, City fan.  :)

Well, it's good to hear that Cazorla played well, as he seems like a really exciting player who will hopefully provide us with a lot of flair in the midfield.

I watched our pre-season game against Koln, and Gervinho played excellent - hopefully this season will be a good one for him, as last year he was terrible... just terrible.

And yes, we're missing Wilshere desperately. But as soon as he comes back, our midfield will be so much stronger! I just hope we don't sustain as many injuries as we did last year, as we haven't got a vast number of midfield options.

Well it's obvious that if you're almost done with Arsenal, their staff or players must be going in the wrong direction, as in bad.

Every team knows they're going to eventually sell players, the fans should know that as-well. RVP wanted to leave for his future, hell, If I was in Arsenal for 8 years and only won 1 FA cup, I'd leave too.

Arsenal- no injuries? Something in that sentence didnt make sense. Haha like we'd finish a season without one of the best players injured. It's not 4th april yet mate!

Wenger's tactics with the ~41m he now has ... just not reasonable. The cheap(er) stars he could get : Afellay from Barca, Sahin from RMD and ... Christian Eriksen from Ajax, not even 40m, that would be better than ... nevermind.
