Actually,
Ronaldo of Manchester United was a calm and shy guy. He rarely spoke on the media, didn't speak of himself even after being PL's top scorer. After he came to Real Madrid and scored as maniac, the media built him as an arrogant douche because of his game style. Many products hired him and his "media personality" to sell theire products and that's why he is acting arrogant on the media aswell.
In my opinion he is sad that Ibrahimovic and Etoo are making more money that he and Kaka that never plays makes the same amount as he. He just wants a bigger paycheck. If Real will give it to him he will stay if no, probably MLS or Man City or PSG

Eldi is right. He was -until 2006- the shy guy you speak of, but the world cup 2006 pushed him, even if euro 2004 gave a whole different, younger version of him.

Ronaldo's a pretty sensational player, it's easy to look at it and think that he'd do such things because everything wasn't perfect for him.
In comparison to many others, he has had it very well though, or least in the public eye.

I don't think he should feel bad about himself for not achieving this or that right now though. But who knows?


And that Liverpool game... no way... every time I think Lpool's getting back in it.

Catched a fight with my coach at the past club now. Back to the primary one where I was positively surprised. Everything new, the whole stadium is new, perfect conditions, we have everything.
We finished 3rd in the last season, but since half of us left the club, would be nice to be in top 7.
