Right. Put a player down to be arrogant at one single action. You don't even know him. All he did was saving time for his team. Same as Roman Weidenfeller did. There is no difference. Manuel Neuer is one of the most honest and fair player doing the best for the team. FC Bayern = FC Hollywood? Tell me who calls them like that. Jealous teams that lost against them right? Just because there is a new (german) team beating the 'best team' worldwide everyone blames them on arrogance. That's pitiable.
I've seen Neuer's behaviour ever since he left Schalke for Bayern, while ironically the move itself was a farce. The Bild Zeitung does, Welt (am Sonntag), Sport Bild, there has been about no newspaper or magazine who reported about them during the years and has NOT called them like that. Bayern was based on arrogance even in 2003. I've seen them come up to our Fritz-Walter-Stadion season after season and I've met a few of them, be it the older players, newer ones and those who I did meet weren't really up for the fans if you get the drill.

List 2 teams who are focussing more on sportive performance. I guess their achievements are proof enough.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen, FC Schalke 04, you name it. All going down focus on football and not on the media. What do their accomplishments mean to being linked to newspapers? Bayern hasn't won a major cup for 3 years now.

About Uli Hoeneß: Do you belive everything what internet or TV says? Uli Hoeneß is the president of Bayern Munich thats right but his tax affair has nothing to do with the club. He is a famous businessman alongside his football management career. He is leading a meat company and made millions by that. Finally he put his private assets onto a swiss bank account. He is so close before getting into 'Untersuchungshaft' (=detention while awaiting trial). They are enough in the newspapers and a tax affair like that would just hurt a reputation wouldn't it? And you say they did it because they want to be in any newspapers.
Assuming he presses charges against himself, it can't be wrong after all. Or do you go to the teacher saying you punched somebody although you did not? I'm just saying that the two most classified men who resemble the club... their image has been put to shame now. Trust me, I don't just read the Bild to get news, I built my scheme here. But the managers even making a huge fuzz out of it proves that they have just the chance. And then them bringing up the transfer of Gotze just pushed them to a positive level of the media. So instead of trying to calm it down, they just try to make the best of themselves while being named in the media.

Bayern is gonna be a hit, in the next period.
"Predicting" 4 months prior is nothing to be proud of really. At this point I actually agree with Plasma.

OH GUYS LOOK I PREDICT MANCHESTER UNITED WILL BE BPL CHAMPIONS AT THE END OF THIS SEASON.

Too bad that Real lost from BVB

Real was better................. :(
Fucking are you retarded? Despite the two goals on the 2nd leg, Real was in no way better.

Both sides deserve the trophy. Bayern have lost 2 finals in the 3 last years though they truly deserved a title. Additionally BVB's youth is very promising and have worked very hard to reach this level which should be rewarded.

On the other hand Borussia truly smashed Real.

Real fell with pride and people will remember the nearly historical comeback. The Barcelona thing was a true humiliation. You set a new defeat record of all time (0-7) in all UEFA Competitions and conceded 3 goals at home.

The match at Allianz Arena was a disgrace for Barcelona

Well, taking your knowledge into consideration I guess you are from Germany or at least you know much about it. I bet you know that BILD always exaggerates situations like these and is likely to give any names. Well I didn't know that it was them calling Bayern like that. I don't ever read BILD, Sportbild or whatever. Actually no news show or serious newspaper ever mentioned such a name.

Bayern was based on arrogance even in 2003. I've seen them come up to our Fritz-Walter-Stadion season after season and I've met a few of them, be it the older players, newer ones and those who I did meet weren't really up for the fans if you get the drill.
There are always individuals among a team who are ignorant, likely the older ones (e.g.Oliver Kahn)
But that's the case in almost every team you can find. Players like Müller, Lahm, Ribéry or Neuer are not from that kind. I met them myself after a game and they took the time to care for the fans.

Bayer 04 Leverkusen, FC Schalke 04, you name it. All going down focus on football and not on the media. What do their accomplishments mean to being linked to newspapers? Bayern hasn't won a major cup for 3 years now.
True, the last 2-3 years. I was talking about the current season. They are on the best way to win the triple ( German championship, DFB Cup, CL ). Actually the fact that the currently best team in the Bundesliga is in the newspapers is not a miracle, isn't it?

Assuming he presses charges against himself, it can't be wrong after all. Or do you go to the teacher saying you punched somebody although you did not? I'm just saying that the two most classified men who resemble the club... their image has been put to shame now.
True, that case hurt their image, but Hoeneß did not intend to draw any connection to FC Bayern that's for sure.

Trust me, I don't just read the Bild to get news, I built my scheme here. But the managers even making a huge fuzz out of it proves that they have just the chance. And then them bringing up the transfer of Gotze just pushed them to a positive level of the media. Thats correct. The Götze transfer was obviously used to cover the Hoeneß tax affair and move the public view away from the scandal -> Calming the situation around Hoeneß down while damaging Dortmund at a certainly bad time (just before the Madrid game) (didn't have to be intended by Bayern though).
But I am sure that they don't have to manipulate anything to be named in the media in any way.

"Predicting" 4 months prior is nothing to be proud of really. At this point I actually agree with Plasma.
Thanks.

And you want a medal for cleverness?
I see no connection in my post and an intention to show my 'cleverness'. Rather your post is just a random input that doesn't have anything to do with the topic. Next time you could direct that stuff to my PM.

Well, while you guys are still arguing about Champions League, two teams have qualified for Europa League final: Chelsea and Benfica.

You're right, not even the fact that Ronaldo is currently the top scorer in this year's CL, and that Manchester City didn't even advance from the group stage. :)

And Messi is the top scorer in the Liga. Yeah, well? Seems like his goals really helped you in the Dortmund game.

German arrogance at it again!

At that time Bayern was already in top form so it would have astonished nobody that Bayern would continue to succeed. That has nothing to do with arrogance or such. A non-german with proper knowledge about football could've said the same.

It's easy to say it's in "top form", but it's not so easy to say they will just go through other good teams without a problem. It's football and the ball is round, even the worst team can win against the best.

And Messi is the top scorer in the Liga. Yeah, well? Seems like his goals really helped you in the Dortmund game.
I'm starting to forget what team you're for, lol. To me, it seems that you're for any team that plays against Madrid because of your pure hatred. His goals helped Madrid get to the semi-finals at least, a road that was closed for Manchester City months ago.

Yep, I am from Germany and of course I know that they exaggerate, since they admit that they are (horribly) biased. But I atleast assumed that they would have a slice of a fact here and there.

That surprises me. I mean I know Ribery is entirely different than they used to interpret him as during the scandals with Zahia Dehar, especially after he found the guy storming to the pitch sympathetic and gave him his jersey.

It is nothing special really. But them winning the triple is truly obvious.

Nah, it was a clever move however.

I went betting and did following games, tell me what you think.
Mönchengladbach - FC Schalke x2
Stuttgart - Fürth 1
Eintracht Frankfurt - Düsseldorf 1
FC Nürnberg - Bayer 04 2
Hertha BSC - Aue 1
Darmstadt 98 - Karlsruher SC2
Büyüksehir - Fenerbahce 2
QPR - Arsenal 2
BVB - Bayern München (this weekend's) 2

Mönchengladbach - FC Schalke x2
Hard game: Both fighting for the entry permission for the European League. Gladbach plays at home which could mean a slight advantage. Not necessary though because Huntelaar from Schalke is in a great form (scored 3 goals I think in the last match). x2 sounds save in this case.

Stuttgart - Fürth 1
Yes, as Fürth doesn't have to win or loose anything.

Eintracht Frankfurt - Düsseldorf 1
Yeah.

FC Nürnberg - Bayer 04 2
Definately yes.

Hertha BSC - Aue 1
Can be difficult. On the one hand Hertha may continue to fight and win their games. But on the other hand Aue has something to loose and Hertha is already passed to 1. Bundesliga... It could happen that Berlin underestimates Aue as Aue really needs the points and Hertha doesn't even ave to care. According to their performances I would agree to you though that Hertha will win it.

Darmstadt 98 - Karlsruher SC2
Yes. Although Darmstadt is playing at home it will be rather a home game for Karlsruhe as I read that over 5000 supporters will be there. I am not aware of current performances though.

Büyüksehir - Fenerbahce 2
I don't have that much knowledge about the turkish league but as I only know Fenerbahce and heard from some of their successes I guess your bet is reasonable.

QPR - Arsenal 2
Yes, Arsenal is in form atm. Played tie against ManU. Another point to mention would be their current positions in the league table.. Arsenal at the top (4th) QPR at the bottom(19th)

BVB - Bayern München (this weekend's) 2
To be honest, I don't even think that Bayern wins this match. It is literally the most useless game in the season for both of them. I guess the coaches will let play some reserve players. 50/50 if you ask me.

How much are you going to bet on this combination?

I'm going to bet the following tomorrow:

Stuttgart - Fürth 1
FC Nürnberg - Bayer 04 2
Eintracht Frankfurt - Düsseldorf 1
QPR - Arsenal 2
Valencia - Oasauna 1
Real Madrid - Valladolid 1

Five euros will do.
