Gerrard is a defensive midfielder who can also play as an attacking one and has nothing to do with the players you mentioned, silly arsenal fan. Gerrard is a midfielder who tackles, who controls the midfield and makes hell of passes. Maradona and the other legends you mentioned are just good at dribbling and attack only. And now I should remind you that all of the attackers you mentioned before had only to face 3 defenders as most of the teams back then used to play with 3 center backs. Gerrard is the leader or actually was the leader of any game some years ago back. He is also the best english player and you should accept that.

And now you gonna talk about Rooney or Lampard, I guess? Rooney is a good playmaker and a great attacker, but leading a team to a victory? Just by himself? I don't think so. Same goes for Lampard. The thing is that Gerrard is the complete player who makes everything possible, he can dribble, he can tackle, he can score, he can shoot and he can lead a team to a victory by his very own.  Any PL fan should admit that Gerrard is England's best. Nowadays football is getting pretty f**ked up because money are getting very much involved in the business.

I'm making fun of us winning the league, but I won't stand any premier league LOSER who says that Gerrard is just a skilled player. And no, I'm not going to watch golf. You said he's the best player the world has seen. Yet I proved to you that he's not even the best midfielder we've seen by listing just a few mids who played roles either attacking or defensively, two positions that Gerrard has had to/can play. If we're talking just a DM, you should bury your head in the ground if you think Gerrard was near as good as Mathhaus.

Talking about players who lead, Scholes could also lead, as could Vieira, as could Roy Keane as could Lampard and they were equally as great as Gerrard in that position. There's a few players for you, that have been on his level or greater and have played in England or even for the national team.

Lol you say this as if other clubs are using this as an advantage against Liverppol. You support a club that spent 35mil on Carrol, 20mil on Downing, 19mil on Robbie Keane, 17mil on Aquilani, 15mil on Joe Allen, 11.5mil on Morientes, 10mil on Fabio Borini and 10mil for El Hadji Diouf lol. It ain't the money that's a problem buddy you guys just know fuck all about how to spend it.

To steer things back on topic - Gerrard is a fantastic player don't get me wrong, however is he the best the world has ever seen? Don't make a fool of yourself lol. You can make an argument for him being the best English player ever yet even then someone like Scholes would easily contend that.

Man, near end, Serbia had a ball and was going trought Croatian's defence. Sulejmani had some good driblings, and just before he shot, Croatian player tackled him. That tackle wasn't a tackle to take a ball, but to break Sulejmani's leg instead, seriously. I got mad so much. It's one of reasons we lost. Also, in my own opinion, we were better trought whole match. (Not because it's Serbia, but we seriously were).
