Here I need to remind you that he was making the bench when Mourinho has signed for real, however he had scored more goals than Higuain - he is always a danger for any team. And it's always hard to score when Bale and Ronaldo play in the same squad.

If anyone was making the bench, that'd be Higuain especially after Mourinho took over Real. Stats according to soccerway.com and Wikipedia.

Benz; 192 apps / 91 goals and 51 assists
Pipita; 163 apps / 87 goals and 33 assists

Counting from season 09/10 until 12/13

I'm not that informed and I do not search things that further, especiall for Real. But by your stats you have replied, I can clearly see that both players had overall same chances of playing. We should not judge Benzema by his last appearances, we all know his a skilled striker. However everyone has his own oppinion.

By looking at those stats, Higuain looks way more consistent.
