Benfica wins one title, then Porto wins 3-4 in a row, nothing new here. :)
Same applies to RM with Barca.  :jackson:

You're right, because Real Madrid has raped La Liga. :D

Even though United was always my fav club, it was hard seeing what was done to it this season. I can't say now if the sack (or his "leaving" as they call it) is good or not. Imo they should've waited till season's ending atleast. Nevertheless, I hope the club finally opens its eyes and gets something fresh on the manager's side as well as the player's side.

EDIT: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152131034102746&set=a.411767862745.195597.7724542745&type=1&theater
Giggs to take over until a permanent appointment has been made as well. I guess all Giggs has to do now is to survive atleast until the season's end, which shouldn't be hard.

Although I feel Moyes struggled to tactically change games and his record of 51 different XIs in 51 games is ridiculous, I can't fathom how almost all the blame is being placed on his shoulders. The team he had was average at best. The defence was absolutely shocking, the midfield lacklustre and when you've got players like Rooney and RVP who you would turn to for goals, they were nowhere to be found.

The Fellaini deal was a massive botch. However, I feel that was a combination of not being able to get the players he actually wanted, Everton running United in circles, and desperation on Transfer Deadline day (there is no way in hell that any team, given the time to negotiate, would settle on £27m for him).

Mata's arrival was massive, but even he failed to bring anything until it was too late in the season.

United may have won the title last season, but they didn't win it in style. City, Liverpool, and Chelsea all had remarkably poor seasons, so there was no real competition for United - the title was effectively handed to them. Even so, results were still beginning to slip for Ferguson (he definitely abandoned ship at the right time).

Good luck to Moyes! Still think he's one of the best managers around - just hope this whole ordeal doesn't ruin his career.

The team Moyes had is above average. The defence is truly weak though, and both Rooney and RVP struggled with injuries. Mata is not to be blamed for the weak games either imo. I even find his performance exceeding my expectations as I remember he scored a goal that won a game. Ferguson struggled last season as well, no doubt, but beating City was still major considering they won the title the season before that and were on a good run.

All in all I think they should get rid of Wellbeck, Young and Fellaini. Play Chicha and Kagawa more often, get some new decent midfielders that could help Mata and the forwards and most importantly, get a fresh coach that isn't afraid to push the limits.

Well, that's true. They're looking for another "Rio Ferdinand". Evans or Smalling can't handle this big work.

Maybe they should get rid of Welbeck, that's OK. But Young is a good player, the problem is that he can't catch his good form easily so I think a player shouldn't go to another club if he isn't plays well for a season. Let's look at Fellaini, he haven't played for a good club such as Manchester United, before. It will be difficult to change his habits when you've transferred recently (at the beginning in this season), maybe Moyes knows his style in the match but it doesn't mean that he can play for United.

Yeah, that's second point true.

back again!

Mourinho has got a good result away in Spain. He still shouldn't bitch when other teams park the bus against him for at he is the master on this tactic.

Breaking News : FIFA suspended Barcelona's transfer punishment until end of the season, in this summer. Means Barcelona can contract or transfer a new player. I think it's really good chance for Barcelona to buy new players (especially goalkeeper).

back again!

Real Madrid win against a boring Bayern, who still looked more dangerous but had rarely a dangerous play. We could have been up to 2 easily at the first half, hopefuly we won't regret that when we play at Munich.
