"Il Faraone" has been one of my favorite young players for a while now! He's a beast when he's fully fit but he keeps getting bogged down by injuries. The last thing I would want is for him to suffer the same fate as Pato.

AC Milan miss out on Europa League. Sucks to see the only other team I admired in such a state but hopefully they can use next season to rebuild and come back strong. Glad to see El Shaarawy didn't lose his touch whilst he was away injured though! With people like him, De Sciglio, Cristante, Mastour etc. Milan have a bright future ahead of them.

He respects a team that used to be a powerhouse in Europe. Just because he respects the team, doesn't mean he has to like them, same goes to Milan supports respecting Juventus and their achievements. Barca respected Madrid and vice-versa..

Respecting your rivals and feeling sad about their issues are separated feelings my friend. A real fan of a certain club does not feel sad when the rival has a shitty year.

That's the whole point of a competitive rivalry mate, it can't remain competitive if your rival is on the decline. A rivalry doesn't necessarily mean you want to see all your opponents heads on a spike.

That's the whole point of a competitive rivalry mate, it can't remain competitive if your rival is on the decline. A rivalry doesn't necessarily mean you want to see all your opponents heads on a spike.

You got a point there but still, feeling sad about it? I don't think so. A competitive rivalry remains competitive even if there's a difference between the budget. Heart is what takes over a match between rivals, at least that's what I've seen so far.

I agree with the sentiment that heart takes over in a match between rivals, however a competitive rivalry extends past just one game. Milan could beat Juventus in one game but it could mean nothing looking at the table overall. The last thing Serie A needs is to be a one-horse race, having teams like Milan and Inter falling below the top 4 is not good for the league overall; considering these were teams that a couple of years ago would actually be in contention for the Scudetto.
