There were even worst tackles than that and there was no red card. And that kick that Marchision made was not on purpose cause he is not a dick to go there and kick the shit out of the other player. In my opinion it shouldn't be a directly red card.

Greeks played better overall and did deserve to win, but that wasn't a fucking penalty. Mafiosis choosing the results however they want; I've lost count of the big mistakes that referees have made so far.

I have to admit it was not a penalty though. But the fall was not intentional. Samaras kicked the defender's leg instead of the ball and he just fell without complaining or asking for a penalty, the referee just whistled.

Please, had he not kicked the ground and fallen the referee wouldn't have whistled. He kicked the defender's leg and missed the ball, and then falls to the ground with BOTH feet...

The Ivorian defender blocks Samaras' path and trips him. Yes, Samaras did overreact to the foul, but that's nothing new, been seeing it in football for years. And yes that's a penalty.

It's a very tough decision to make but you can see how the defender barges into him and causes him to kick his heel so it technically is a penalty in a way.
