Despite him getting the winning goal, Di Maria was dreadful. He lost the ball 51 times throughout the whole match. Messi couldn't do too much due to him being surrounded by three players. Overall, boring game.

Despite losing the game, Switzerland was shitting on them. A bad mistake at the end gave Argentina a good counter-attack.

It was actually quite the opposite. Argentina dominated the match, just didn't create any clear cut chances. Switzerland had 2 wonderful chances but one was a great save and the other was an awful chip shot.

Yeah the second half, but when you look at what kind of team Switzerland has and what kind of team Argentina has, it's pretty funny seeing a guy like Shaqiri nutmegging players over and over and the only way to stop him is to foul him. :)

It seems as if you only care about Shaqiri in the Switzerland team. And the same could be said about Messi and Di Maria.

No, I was using him as an example. You also got Behrami who wasn't letting Argentina breath when it comes to defending. You obviously didn't read my post and want to compare Messi and Di Maria with Shaqiri.

Switzerland deserved to proceed AT LEAST to penalties.
