Well considering Messi is the best player in the world, I had a doubt.

IMO Mascherano deserved it a little bit more than Messi in the world cup. But 2014 was Ronaldo's year.

If you could read, you would see that I said he scored in the group stage; in the knockout stage he didn't do much.

Don't fool yourself Antonio, Messi lead his whole nation to the final and if Argentina had won, it would have been Messi's year, considering Ronaldo was nothing more but a big wappin zero in the world cup.

Not to mention the CL final, a final were Ronaldo was nowhere. RM's vice captain and top scorer from defensive position earned them the trophy.
