Hi guys, I was away for the weekend so didn't have the chance to take part to this discussion.
Anyway, let's see what we have here....

Kaltsu wants to change them.
He says and i quote

Sure, cause it's super realistic to walk 50m to get to the cars when criminals are running away and killing people.
He claims that miami cop cars are green.
I watch CSI Miami and they are white but whatever.

Ok man, that's totally ridiculous. Stop putting words in my mouth, I haven't ever said such sentence.

Yes, I do claim that Miami police cruisers have a green & white color scheme. I used to live in Miami area for several years, so I think I know what I'm talking about. And as I feel this place as one home of mine, I am really going to defend it in this case.

I don't know what you guys think, but the idea of RPG servers has always been to be as close to realism as possible. In this case if we think about realism, I see no idea in changing the police cruiser colors to black & white.

What comes to the spawnplaces...
Well I checked how the police vehicles spawn in VC:MP, and I didn't really like them.

Having a police helicopter on the parking lot of VCPD HQ? Oh come on, Vice City doesn't need millions of police helicopters. The one at Downtown PD helipad is enough in my opinion.

And the police cruisers, well I could maybe understand 1 or 2 cars spawning in front of the VCPD HQ and rest in the parking lot behind. But putting all vehicles to front ?

And PMP, what comes to you. Seems that you are here only to flame me and my opinions, also putting loads of shit on me. Well since you started the "quoting", and are all the time "fighting" for the players rights and telling that I don't respect our players....let me put here one real quote from my WLM logs:

well, i like the black&white cars. maybe you can do 2 types of cars, one black&white on one island, one green&white at the other one.
I also like 2 police helis, but the second spawn is maybe wrong. Maybe that second spawn should be in the middle of nowhere, maybe like the mta heli in some house backyard.

and i do like the idea of many police cars, so there is always enough to drive with. I had many times in mta that i spawned as cop without having a car, so i like the idea of more cars, but maybe more in the  "backyards" of the police stations

Also, give more ammo to the guns, so you dont get out of ammo while fighting
Anyways, i must say that the developers did a great job by making this VCMP argonath.

Kaltsu, car color were voted, black and white has more votes then all other colors together.
It's not about the color itself, is cause we want to make a difference, cause that will attract more players. But still, black and white ROCKS. And the real color is white with green strip, they were like that during the game development.

about the headquarters spawn, my idea was to have all police vehicles spawning there
so that it would really like it's the main PD. It is the only with desk and i though detectives would look real behind the desks. Cars spawn in front cause I do play MTA and hate having to go around the building for cars. while we do that criminals kill people.

About me, I don't think I'm the best developer, but I do care for other peoples opinions, not just yours or any other R* member opinion like Watti, i develop what the futures users want, and you can ask Gunnie or Hayden, they asked me to place a certain car, i did.

i have an idea for vcmp, but the problem is that its too big, and the server will take twice the time which it gonna already take.As there is no section for vcmp, i want to know shud i post the idea in mta section, or shud i wait for the vcmp section to be opened
tho the idea shud not be applied to 0.1, i just wanted to know the correct place and time to post the idea

I said and showed that the modern Miami-Dade police cruisers have the same color scheme as in Vice City by default. Now, you forget that the game is based in the 80's. Decy told me, that in "Miami Vice" -television show there are police cruisers, which look very much the same as the ones in Vice City.

Players maybe voted for the black & white ones, but I don't think they even thought how unrealistic it is. If they had knew that Miami really has green & white police cruisers, I think the result would have been different.

Sharphis came to me with an interesting area about creating a teleport. You know, inside the VCPD HQ there is this small, black door in the back wall of the PD. Also, if you look at the parking lot outside, you see that there is a door in the wall. Would it be possible to create somekind of teleport connection between these two spots, so it would be kind of realistic if you had access to the PD parking lot from indoors?

What comes to your "criminals are killing innocent people while cops are walking to the police cruisers" explanation...
If the situation is really that, I think the admins of VC:MP server need to grab themselves from the neck, as that is considered as pure deathmatching.

My intentions are not to cause double work or to piss you off. I admit, that it might be a bit too late for me to start talking about this, but still I would like the VC:MP server to be as realistic as possible.

:ps: I have nothing against changing the colors of the civilian cars, if you thought so.

Heh, well I personally think that some custom painted vehicles shouldn't be the main method to attract players on the server.
The biggest attraction is the server itself; RPG gameplay (realism), administration and naturally, the players.

And if you must use the vehicles as an attraction, I think custom painted civilian vehicles are enough to do the trick.
