People should roleplay mayors presidents and whatever else they wish, but they should get over it if someone is also challenging them.

So if you're so cool to set up a government, why shouldn't you consider setting up a militia to defend yourself? After all this is GTA, eh?

Because Kojak says otherwise.

If by 'act against' you mean attack, then no. If by 'de-throne' you mean kill, then no. If you mean harass, provoke, abuse, grief, troll, insult or any other nonsense, then no.

So if a government group can not be challenged, I suppose they are otherwords immune.

If a second government group enters the scene in the same place as the first one, there will be unevitable attrition. Will administration also intervene if such thing happens?

E na parede do meu quarto / Ainda está o seu retrato
Eu quero ver pra não lembrar / Pensei até em me mudar / Lugar qualquer que não exista / O pensamento em você

They are immune, or protected, from having their gameplay unreasonably disrupted by others, just the same as any other player.

If someone unreasonably disrupts the gameplay of others admins will intervene, just the same as any other player.

There are no 'government groups' here, just some players role-playing.

Well, I kinda started this to provoke some interesting RP, giving some ideas out and if anything a bit of entertainment.

In the past a whole political system was in process... for about a week, until everyone got bored and decided to do something else. This included various political parties campaigning to become mayors of different cities etc. Check THIS out. Oh, and this might be interesting to some!

It's nice to see this kind of RP is making a comeback, it is good for fun and who knows... if players find it fun and make it larger scale maybe you will get the developers attention.

Ps. I'm still the Mayor of Fort Carson, I'm just on holiday with all the drugs money I captured on Sheriff duty.

Is the political party system still there? Since the last replies were in '09.

What a damn shame.
It was a good few weeks of RP though :D  I could have been mayor of LS by now if we carried on. We got to the stage where other political parties were joining us rather than go against the might of the Self Preservation Society! Which was kind of a corrupt political party to keep things interesting.

Theres nothing stopping players from doing this now though. I see many topics about mayor proclamations but its the ingame stuff thats important.
