Yes, I'm going to buy a pc with the exactly same rig ( tho the 560 GTX instead of the 6950 raedon ) and I thought I would run BF3 on medium only. ( oh and not sure about motherboard but i'm sure the guy in the store will recommend me the best one who fits. )

I almost have the same specs, i5 2500k, 6950 (Which is the competitor of the 560), 8GB RAM, MSI Motherboard, 1TB. The CPU is really good and handles all kinds of new games, played BF3, GTA 4 with everything maxed out without lag, just sayin'

What kind of hard drive are you getting? SATA2 or 3? 5400rpm or 7200rpm?

SATA3, 7200 RPM

Btw, charlie, RAM's are cheap nowdays ( atleast here ) , so i'd suggest you to buy the 8GB ram.

I'll be buying some stuff like HDD and RAM on ebay, for cheaper rates. So maybe yeah.
And yeah, i5 with 6950 is enough to run any game maxed out.
