Problem

Hey,
     i'm bugged in this server whenever i join the server there is no one the map but in the chat box  it shows the player's name in Black colour ( likewise if they are not spawned ). I can't see other player's and they can't see me. This is not fault in my internet connection all other servers are running fine and i have no mod installed. I re-installed my game and vcmp browser but nothing changed. I have to relog 30-35 times to get it work but it's hard everytime to join the server again and again. This is just a waste of time .I like this server and haven't played it for a long time because i'm bugged  i can't wait please fix the bug

It happens to some and if I am correct, it is a VCMP bug that has nothing to do with server (Read: I'm not sure about this)

Bugged spawn screen, script's fault.

I have the same problem as well. It doesn't matter if you use modifications or not; using a clean version doesn't fix anything.
Currently, there's just one solution - reconnect till it loads properly (visible player blips on the map).

I have only seen this problem once. I think it was fixed with the new 2.0 spawnscreen.

It sounds like it's just desync when syncing up with the server.

Very long time ago there was a newb who appeared totally desynched to others - he took a hunter which was locked, killed a few guys, and after admins ejecting him out of the vehicle, nothing happened, until he was kicked. I thought it was gigantic lag or hacks but seems like a desynch is possible after all.

this sounds more like connection problem, but why does it happen only on this server for you is unknown. Maybe your alias or account info is bugged or somethin

I do remember (in the previous version I think) that this ''black name'' bug used to happen randomly to some people when they joined sometimes. I think it was clientside though not serverside, but I also recall this unability to eject like Marcell said.

most probably i think my account is bugged 3-4 months before when i was having 1 car but it says you already have two cars and that time stormeus fixed it so this bug can also be fixed.

i had kinda Same problem inside samp once and didnt got solved at Reinstall only thing that fixed it was to install the game in a different name like instead of San andreas as install name of the map, i had to use San Andreass and this fixed it and was coused of that i had mods and Removed them, this kinda created some wierd Permanent fail so had to rename the install map to get it clean.

But it was kinda like the foult you describe here

This used to happen to me when I used to access a public WiFi which was almost out of my laptop's range.
So I experienced a lot of packet loss and had 350+ ping.

Press F6, if you are getting a high packet loss while trying to connect to the server....then it means your internet has a problem.

Yeah this is probably caused by packetloss as aXXo stated above since your client may not be able to process all packets needed at the instant of you joining a server. This is nothing terrible though, a few rejoins should do the trick. I'm not sure if this co-relates in any way but try using the same nick all the time since the same incident happens when you change nicks too. (Extremely rare however)
