I'm crashing constantly ingame, I do have Windows XP and I have lots of people telling me to get Windows 7.

Can I ask if the Windows XP problem will be resolved??? So that we Windows XP Users wont crash anymore

Generally IVMP crashes occur to all players, no matter the OS. I have not to this point heard of anything like "XP causes IV-MP to crash".
Its normally a client instability/bug which causes the game to crash.

Does it crash as your game opens or every few minutes?

Windows XP users will crash when they die in this version of IVMP. I has this problem mysel and updating to windows 7 fixed this problem. However if thats not the case(crash when die), then its probably normal, but updating to win 7 cant hurt.

I heard somewhere that if you have XP but lower than service pack 3 the death crash happens both in MP and SP.

Pain makes you stronger. Tears make you braver. Heartbreak makes you wiser. And vodka makes you not remember any of that crap.

you cant play without service pack 3 if u have windows XP

Actually the minimum requirements say that if you have less than 2.5 GB of RAM on Win 7 You can`t play either.... just sayin.

Probably have decent spec on other components. Though I'd guess you cannot run anything at all in the background  :lol:

You learn to live with the crashes :p

It's possible to have it working on a 64bit version of XP. 64bit of course only goes up-to service pack 2 so you would need to edit the registry for it to be read as if it was service pack 3. Search for it on the internet you will see what I'm saying.

Processor: AMD Athlom(tm) 64 X2 Duel Core Processor 4600+ 2.40 GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 2.00GB
System type: 32-bit Operating System
My cousin built it for us....  :lol: I have played IV 32 bit 1GB of RAM windows xp computer befor (My old one xD) I got a laptop too though, 4GB of Ram, Win 7, SP 3, 64bit...
