On DM for weed, scamming, & various script abuse

1. DM for weed: Situation involves going and shooting someone at a weedfield when he is standing there waiting for his weed. Are you that shallow to just shoot someone without any roleplay what so ever, then steal his weed? If yes, welcome to the tempban for DM. If you still continue this act, welcome to permban and subsequently the unban section, where you will meet me or the other HQ. You will also lose your stock of weed/heroin. Entirely.
People who have been deathmatched for weed(without any roleplay whatsoever) can send me a forum PM and I will take action against those found to have actually erred.

2. Scamming - scamming in casinos will end up with a ban. Scamming illegal thing is not bannable.  Scamming outside casinos is allowed but shallow. However if you scam a new guy(say, upto 7 days old), you will be punished with a ban or otherwise. If you are wise you will not gamble outside a casino. EDIT 1: The scammer loses TWICE the amount he scammed and earns a full ban. However the one who gets scammed gets back only the money he bet initially.

3. Spawnreset and helpmeup - spawn reset at/near a weed/heroin location is forbidden. This is abuse of the command. Same is the case with /helpmeup - abuse it and face the consequences. /helpmeup is to be used only if you are stuck in the ground due to some bug or stuck under a car in case of a carkiller(you can use it and report the guy).

EDIT 2 - 4. Players do not have access to any teleport facility. It is noticed, sadly, that players are using /kill to teleport to the spawnreset point, for lame reasons (No car within 50 or so steps, to respawn quickly at the next weed spot etc). Whatever the reason for which you are using /kill it is abuse, except:

a. Within roleplay, when you suicide(of course it should not be used when you are a  suspect)
b. It can be used when bugged in an interior and you cannot exit the interior.

5. /q abuse - Whilst most are familiar with the /q abuse that players are generally punished for, it may also be noted that players will have admin action taken on them when they /q so that vehicles spawn at their spawn points. Sometimes other players may take your car, that does not mean you must abuse scripts to get them back. Either ask for them or use another car for the time being.

Jubin, actually, we would have allowed this. But off late, people are looking to abuse our trust more than anything. If I allow it for one I have to allow for all. That may result in still more abuse in another form. Therefore I am sorry to say that it should not be used for that either. You can use a chopper if the place you wanna get upto is accessible.

That may result in still more abuse in another form. Therefore I am sorry to say that it should not be used for that either. You can use a chopper if the place you wanna get upto is accessible.

But I would like to ask, what is the abuse with /helpmeup when one is not a suspect on a getaway? Why not allow its usage as a citizen?

One as a citizen could use it to avoid a situation with another player for example a confrontation and or roleplay. Few more have just sprung to my mind too however they will not be mentioned as some will then start having ideas...

The /helpmeup thing sucks. I used to PM the highest ranking admin online, and ask them if I could RP Spiderman. They checked I wasn't doing it just to get to a vehicle, then let me use /helpmeup.

The /helpmeup command could easily be abused in role-play scenarios, also such as shootouts etcetera so it's rather good that's not allowed for citizens.

Jubin, you ask a valid question. To be completely honest, I do not have an answer. But what I DO know is that if it was allowed, some people would figure out unfair advantages for the command. It is therefore disallowed.
Besides, I have a question for you  . /helpmeup is not meant for repeated spamming. It is to be used to get you out from under the car of a carkiller for example. So wouldn't repeated spamming of helpmeup be abuse?
