BEEP. For the initial system test. As normal.

Second BEEP a few seconds later, for not having a PS/2 keyboard. Is there anything I can do to stop this second beep, its really annoying, and is known to be a problem with my keyboard (Logitech G110 Gaming Keyboard)

Thanks.

If your keyboard is USB, then it should be possible to override the keyboard check in the BIOS settings.

How do you know sure, that second beep is because of not having PS/2 keyboard? My other PC, I have turned on without keyboard, no beep...

Your PC beeps as a standard check?

How old is it? :o

Go into the BIOS and set 'stop on error' from 'All' (or whatever it is set to) to 'All but keyboard' or similarly worded.

Still can't find nothing in BIOS :S

In POST messages, it displays PS2 keyboard not found, and if I actually plug one in, then it only beeps once (as normal)

And yes, the PC itself is ancient.

So, your keyboard is USB, but computer says, that you don't have PS2 keyboard...There should be a BIOS setting for this. Can you look around in BIOS with your USB keyboard?
Can you actually use your computer?

Keyboard works fine in BIOS, and it is what I'm typing with right now

One good suggestion which might work brightly.

lmao

As brilliant an idea this sounds, I believe it isn't a buzzer, it vibrates the coil somewhere on the motherboard I think :3

This. Or ignore the BEEEP. I have 4 Beeps when turning my PC on,and when I can't hear it,I think that my PC is broken.

You might need a new keyboard.

I would prefer this

But I am not sure about special buttons on keyboard, if these will keep working. You could try, these things don't cost much(from my knowledge).

EDIT: Purple ones are for keyboard, green for mouse, although not sure, if it matters in the meaning of functions.

Lol at the buzzer suggestion!

Don't really want to buy a new keyboard, 70(pounds) was a bit too much anyway.

Can't use PS2 thing because this has its own sound card (curious feature!) and has media controls, volume wheel, macros and lights as well as a USB port on the back, so USB is the only option
