Kay so, yesterday I decided i wanted to try out the argo IVMP server, so today i went to Gamestop and bought it, and i was trying to follow the instructions on the patch/mp installation, But, it appears Games for Windows didn't install with my GTAIV? i tried going to the Live website and downloading the GFW Client there, and it crashes whenever i open it. when i enter the game, the "Enter" to sign in doesn't do anything except make a noise.
1. Yes its a legal copy.
2. Haven't patched anything yet, or done anything with the files except made them Vista (pack2) compatible + run with admin

Please possible solutions?

Also, not sure if this is relevant or anything, but this is error report thingy i get when Games for Windows crashes

You need to update to 1.0.0.7

Ah thanks, but in this http://www.argonathrpg.eu/forum/index.php?topic=65008.0 thread, it said to start the game, then Games for Windows Live would update it, before installing the 7 update, but i'll try it, not like i have anything to lose :p

Also, when i try starting GTAIV, a command console opens

Edit: Tried it, but still the same problem , I also tried running IVMP too, and error "Invalid Resource" came up, and told me to reinstall the game

Hrm, interesting. GFWL magically started working after i reinstalled IV -.- Well thanks... i guess :P i'll patch everything up and report any problems if they occur ;p

Edit: Kay, so the Windows Live thing prompted me to update it, so i did, and now im having the original problem again

Edit2: Well, IVMP works, but no luck with SP
