Criticism not agaisnt Americans, agaisnt your shit ass government who claims to allow and encourage freedom, yet manages to manipulate it's population with bills and companies personal interests.

Using racial stereotypes against Americans is against Americans. Most of the posts here attacked the people of the United States, not it's government.

To an extent, they would be. The world, and especially the United States, relies very much on e-commerce to survive and run. If our world didn't have it in it's back pocket for making money online, the world economy likely would have already collapsed. That very large, secondary source of money is why a good portion of the world is still able to keep themselves running.

Well, Let's just remember that is the US Government doings, not it's people. What Sugar wanted was no Racism or attacks to the American people, plus, their the ones who would be most affected, and they are fighting it back aswell.

Learn American politics before you troll me over them. The U.S. Government is made up of those who represent the citizens of the country, by definition. They are voted in for that exact reason.

They are composed of humans. People need to stop assuming that a person from another country is a completely different race. Yes, there are different ethnicities, but there is only one human race. Blame the people who take advantage of their power over other humans, not the people that live within an imaginary boundary. It's those people taking advantage of the situation that propose the stupid power-trip bills like SOPA and PIPA. They have no intention of stopping piracy...it's all about greed and power. That's what government has become in the last 100 years or so, maybe more. It's no longer about keeping order, but instead about keeping control. It's not a subject I want to divert to because politics aren't allowed here, but SOPA and PIPA are basically proof of that.

Anyway, now that SOPA and PIPA are pretty much done for, has anyone heard anything new about OPEN yet? I'm sure it's doomed to a similar fate after the internet blackouts, but it's getting very little news coverage in comparison, so it's something I'd rather not see pass either. Any censorship over the internet is bad. It's one thing to stop people who break the law or threaten the lives or well-being of others online, but it's another to pass a bill using that as an excuse just to control what people see or say altogether.
