Look at the gameplay bit at 1:51. Exactly the same as shitty RE5.
What? The engine has been pretty much the same in all RE games, except in prior games it was more of an over-head view. It has always been the same basic principle of stand still and shoot. The only thing I've noticed in that respect is the addition of a cover system, which could be quite cool. RE4 was an absolutely brilliant game, and I really enjoyed it. RE5 on the other hand really disappointed me - let's face it, in comparison to RE4, it's a pile of shit. And that's exactly where the problem lies. In RE4 you had the epic castle location, awesome bosses (some of which scared the shit out of me when I first played it - especially that huge fucker that attacks you on the lift or some shit) where as RE5 just isn't even worth comparing. I mean, the best potential boss battle on that game - the huge bastard that attacks you, yet again, on the lift - lasted about 5 minutes.
I'm hoping for the best, and if anything for RE6 to be more like 4 than 5.
