Hello;

As a Rap/Hip-Hop fan, I've been across many opinions and results about this poll question. I'm Eminem's fan, and I pretty much like his flow, more when he was under the ego "Slim Shady" but can't argue because the "new" Eminem sounds nice to me as well, although, I'm the first one to bow before the king, and give my vote in favor of Tupac.

Now, MTV, made a list of the best rappers of all time, and Jay-Z was leading it, but honestly I don't agree (but that's my personal opinion). I think MTV gave that title to Jay-Z due to the fact he sold a lot. But, I don't find it fair, why? - Well, all on that list changed their flow with the time, and adequate it to the season we're. While Tupac and Biggie didn't have that chance, and that created many discussions around Rap/Hip-Hop forums.

After that list, of MTV has been released, and many discussions and disappointments of the fans, there was a site that opened a poll to the fans - That list showed that Tupac was the best rapper ever, followed by Eminem. (and I totally agree with that).

Anyway, I was listening to a 50 cent song on Youtube and came across with the following comment:

I totally find that an absolute idiotic act/comment whatever you want to call it(even tho it gave me some nice laughs), but I find that everyone is free to have their opinions, so I came here for a community poll!

Anyway, my vote goes for Tupac!

You can post an "Option 6: Other" and name the rapper you think that is the best in your opinion, will count for the poll as the other options. - Try to keep the topic clean and without useless things. And yes, if you're retard enough to think Justin Bieber is a rapper, you can name him.

Good poll!

I voted for Tupac, Even though Eminem takes the cake for "skill" and "lyricism", I just enjoy earlier rap better.

Some new up in coming in the genre to look out for.

C.O.B/Horseshoe Gang
A$AP Rocky
Schoolboy Q

I voted for Tupac. The mainstream rap of today is shit.

My top: 1)2Pac 2)BTnH 3)WTC 4)Eazy-E 5)Biggie.

I don't really like neither Nas nor Gay-zeeee nor Eminem, used to listen to last one before, tho.

Actually you can mix 2-5 together, all good, no need to order them. :D

All those listening to Eminem clearly do not follow nowadays Hip-Hop, or have no knowledge about it at all, or they're true fans.
Slaughterhouse
C.O.B/Horseshoe Gang
A$AP Rocky
Schoolboy Q

Big up to you! Damn, I wish girls around me would listen to some fine Hip-Hop.

I listen to a lot of rappers as that's what I spend most of my time in. I really enjoy some upcoming rappers, slaughterhouse is fucking amazing. You can say what you want but Machine Gun Kelly, I'm digging that man.

Rick Ross, especially the Rich Forever tape was sick!
TI, I only liked him on the track with dre.
Waka Flocka, of course.

And besides that I listen to a lot of Dutch rap :)

And why's that?

And why's that?

Well, mainly because Eminem extremely changed his style of rap. Just compare tracks like Mockingbird, Stan, When I'm Gone and tracks like that, with more recent tracks like those with Rihanna or shit like that. Not saying those tracks are bad, but hmm I preferred him couple years ago.

Eminem has done nothing but matured in his career, If you ask me his new lyrics have a higher quality of  wordplay and are 10x more technical than any of his old schemes, yes they're more appealing to a larger audience but the "skill" is still there.

Of course, Slim Shady was his golden age, like I refered above.

I'm Eminem's fan, and I pretty much like his flow, more when he was under the ego "Slim Shady" but can't argue because the "new" Eminem sounds nice to me as well

He also got mature, so... He has more feelings and meanings in his songs, and not that crazy shit as we were used to see in Slim... I kinda like his new him, but oh well, I'm huge fan anyway.

Also, after 4-5 years without release a single song, he needed this new mainstream singers as Rihanna, to get a, let's say push up, and to the others that featured to him, doing a feat with Eminem was a huge addon in their carrer, basically it's all merchandise..

But, Eminem lately was looking into new talents and help them, Yelawolf, Royce, Slaughterhouse...

NO WORRIES THO, Apparently, Eminem said that he is dying back his hair, and will bring "Slim Shady" for the next two albums! - Not confirmed yet, he just threw the idea. I seriously hope, that he can keep that Slim Shady level, off drugs.

When it comes to music and especially RAP...

The lyrics is what matters...

So the prize either goes to Tupac or Eminem....
