Restarting..

For some reason, Lately.. When i ESC for like 5-10 minutes, I come back. It says the server has restarted and i have to log back in.

Do any of you know the cause of this or is it like this for everyone?

It means that you lost your connection to the server at some point while you were AFK...for example, wireless router rebooting, or modem getting unplugged. Alternatively, if the server had a restart you would also have to login again from being AFK.

Someone told me that it could be the server bugging and not my problem. Could that also be the case?  :redface:

Not Everytime, but 70-80 percent of the time, yes.

Ok but you do have internet connection when you get back to see the 'lost connection' message? It's not like you're getting disconnected from MSN or anything like that aswell?

Nah, I don't get disconnected from anything. Everything works but when i come back, It's like at the login screen.

When you alt tab out of samp, its now not set as a high priority, if there is alot of connections going on, and or your downloading something etc etc etc...

It may cut out the connection in samp temporarily to connect to something else, and because GTA_SA.exe has less priority as your not using it, it would assume that is ok.

Try assigning it more priority in the task manager.

If you let your computer go idle, then it will automatically disconnect you from the server, and sometimes msn and other things you use.
