Server upgrade and maintenance

One Question:

In 2010 this server never lagg or never got any bugs. So why in this year we got so much bugs and lagg?

I've got my own theory, but I'll keep it to myself as it's controversial  :devroll:


SugarD, personally I would have loved to both try Liberty United AND MTA:VC, however, I asked for technical support on a legal copy of the game, and my thread was locked because it was assumed I pirated the game.

I'd prefer not to go into a community where nobody wants to try and help  :evil:

If the topic was locked, it was due to piracy discussion. Can you show me the link to the one you're talking about? I'll see if I can find out why.

Liberty unleashed you mean? If anything you need for both VC and GTA 3, my pm is open, You're free to pm me anytime. Also if there's something I can't fix, I know people who'll be able to, So yeah you may pm me anytime regarding MTA:VC or GTA3.

If you are discussing providing files for Liberty Unleashed, GTA3:MTA, MTA:VC, or any other GTA multiplayer mod, that is fine, but if you are referring to the game files themselves, please don't discuss it here as that would be piracy.

It has come to the point when I'm unable to carry out my adminstrator duty on a proper way. The lag causes spectate bugs and get my self desycned which does I'm unable to perform any actions that's necessary. To be honest, my patience is almost breached. Server was shutted down for a week, I've no issues with that but my issue is that I'm not able to see any results from that maintaince.
So, would anyone be nice to explain to me what causes the server lags so badly and why there was a maintaince without any work being done?

Mash Potato, it's the same for all of us! We can't even roleplay without randomly dying, lagging into a cop that instantly suspects you, get out of a helicopter without ending up in it's rotor blades mangled up like a quaver, buy weapons then try to exit ammunation only finding out the server forgot about the /exit command... Bugs lag bugs lag bugs lag. Say I should stop moaning? For the people who try to roleplay ALOT in this server it's gotten really pathetic...

You dont need players to do it, most of the time people dont join the server because nobody else is on it.

If you actually go on the server when it has 0 players on, you would be surprised to see how many join you soon.
Least thats how it worked on minecraft.

Mash, I've the same question. Massive chat lag. Massive lag ram. Full impossibility of working as cop in the evenings, when there's 140+ players.
BTW, in the mornings, things are pretty ok - no chat lag at least.

The "no /exit" bug makes me many times very angry.

Great, Please stay and play on VCMP instead, We don't need people like yourself on MTA:VC anyways. And talking of 0 players online, Doesn't really matter, If you want people around you, to watch everything you do, you're just a show off in my opinion. If you like having fun it wouldn't matter to you. I join IV:MP often, but there's barely any players online, Must I assume its dead just because when I join the server isn't busy? I don't think so.

I've been there when SA:MP had only 7 players on a normal day , I've also been there when SA:MP had 182+ players on another normal day. Its not the server my friend, Its all about the timing. We may have lots of European players in SA:MP , but what I have lately noticed is that most of the people on MTA:VC  are from the Americas or Asia. Mainly The Americas.
