If you start cursing or flaming the owners because of the lag and downtimes, i will take care of you personally. Be happy that they are giving up time and money to deliver these servers for you.

There is a reason its down, Perhaps and most truly they found something they consider an issue, and need fixing, and i bet it its for the server and players best, and you guys keep complaining, when server is up, or when trying to fix it and its down ;D keep thoose unnecessary words in your head... and  give them a rest and i bet it will be fixed very soon.....

Be grateful that we have some servers to play on... The server is up 24/7 and when it's down for half a day you all bitc*ing about it...

seriously though; i tried installing it back in 2008 but it had too much errors to even start
so i played vcmp instead

You could have just asked for help, rather than trash-talk the server then.

So, would anyone be nice to explain to me what causes the server lags so badly and why there was a maintaince without any work being done?

Not even counting the script-related issues themselves, there are many, many factors that can lead to the lag issues. Gandalf, RON, and Sauron have all been working hard trying to figure out what the cause is and resolve it, but so far little has helped.

Besides, gives me some free time to enjoy the first warmest day so far Yay for spring time. Thanks to the servers owners and leaders for taking the and dedication to fix these problems for us much appreciated

I'd much rather things went down for a few days, than have to face ongoing connectivity/operation issues and the future consequences that would come around.

Anyway, I've seen the Argonath Test Server is now locked...and has the RS5 script! I'm too excited to worry about actually being online! And anyway...I need to learn Java, so maybe its better for me that Argonath is down, so I can focus my time on learning something  :roll:
