Technically we also pay for the bandwith you use. That is why providers are rich:  :money:

One of the challenges we face is to keep the growing amount of player data while at the same time reducing the load and write times of accounts. An average account has over 200 data fields.
With 150 players that can mean 30.000 write actions for instance in case of a payday.

Very bad practice, especially since the SAMP server runs on a single thread
All that data will have to be processed before player actions/positions etc. updated, commands are processed and everything else

Just a question to Sauron or Gandalf, did the forum encounter any problems yesterday? I had some difficulties to browse around the forum without it loosing connection or just loading slow.

I noticed the same and made some tweaks. The ad server may need some work as it seems to slow down things atm.

Will do. But I ment that yoiu pay for the speed of it in mbps but not for how much you use. At least that's on private-use.

And @ Sugar, read above, you just pay for the speed. And paying more will not help since I have WiFi to the attict and I hope to get fiberglass-wires soon in the neighbourhood.
