Rico Scaletta was born in Los Santos, on November 10, 1992. A fire destroyed his tenement in 1999, forcing the family to relocate to San Fierro city of San Andreas.
Rico a ninth-grade drop out worked in a neighbourhood laundry cleaners. Rico maintains that the movie Scarface strongly influenced his decision to become a drug dealer. In that same year , a Dominican cocaine supplier approached Rico about selling the drug.
By the time he turned 21, Rico had become a cocaine wholesaler in his neighborhood, and regularly earned from $90,000 - $100,000 a week from his operations.Rico was arrested for trying to sell four kilos of cocaine to an undercover police officer. He was arrested again three weeks later, when police searched his home and found heroin, ten ounces of crack cocaine and a starting pistol. Although Rico's was sentenced to three to nine years in prison, he served six months in a boot camp and earned his GED.After getting back on San Fierro's streets, Rico started a gang called Duce's, but ended up badly for his brother. He was killed by a rival gang during a massive shootout.
Rico left San Fierro and traveled to Cuba. 4 years passed by and Rico decided to go back to 'Fierro. He also returned to the criminal underworld and took vengeance for his dead brother.
Later on, he was introduced to the Soprano Family by his old friend, Lorenzo. Nowadays, Rico is living near Avispa Country Club and rolls with his new friends.
