Massive lag

Okay, as Gandalf said that we needed to make a topic to report lots of lag here it is. For now, ArgonathRPG isn't playable anymore since you have to wait about one minute before the chat to update itself, and besides that nothing is synced.

Shortly said, Argonath lags, and this time it's serious for me, you can't play like you wanted since everything happens too slow.

I hope that it will be solved as soon as possible

In order to reduce lag and give more performance to our servers, we will make a large upgrade to the system this week.
This will be done in 2 stages, as we will upgrade RAM and bring software up to date.

During this time the servers will be offline for several hours. We will make it as fast as possible, but downtime is unavoidable.

Thats effect on the server aswell, I hope that when it will be done, The lag will reduce .

I've read that but still.. That was over 10 days ago now so I think it's solved already. I think one of the scripts is bugging, or something is wrong.

And they would announce before updating RAM right? And full downtime then so not just lagging

I've experienced the same issue, and apparently everybody else has. Those who say they are not lagging are either blind or lying.
The problem is not the server itself, but the host.

The only thing we can do is sit tight and wait while Sauron fixes the issue.

From my understanding they are still updating the servers so untill Sauron comes on tells us that the updates are compleate, until then we can asume that the updates are still being undertaken and lag will occour when theres large amout of players on the server.

The server is being updated as Sauron stated here.
This is indeed almost impossible to play but I guess once the updates will be gone it'll be better.

Sauron said the first stage was finished (adding RAM) but the second stage the software updates havent or at least Sauron hasnt told us they are done yet. so until we get the word that the software updates are done, i will say that the lag is caused by the software updates not being finished

Yeah today gameplay was ridicilous but atleast we are informed that updates are coming therefore we should wait patiently.

Had almost no lag today untill Tattoo joined to restart the server when the lag returned after that

Server has been restarted twice, at first the server seemed to be fine.But after 5 minutes it was unplayable again.

It really sucks . It's restarting now. Hope it will be fixed soon .

Looks like the whole server is down (not only SAMP) since Paruni isn't responding as well. I think it's rebooting.
