Introducing the latest feature of Argonath Stock Market... Mobile. We have gone mobile, with a mobile-browser enabled version and in-development of an Argonath Stock Market for Android phones!

New Features:
   Custom Alerts - Allow users to create custom stock alerts based on time or price changes. The alert can be sent to Mobile, Email or ASM site notification.
   Search the Market - Allow a user to search the market and return all businesses, users, and more simply and quickly!
   Live-Rate Image Generator - Create an image, or merge with a signature to create an awesome image using our system to be used on the forums! This feature is currently in beta as a 1.0 system, but will not be released until 2.0.
   Video-Platform - View ASM's Behind the project right from our site in the new Behind The Project section of the site.
      
New Access:
   Mobile (Browsers) - Login to ASM Mobile and see top rates, the latest and your shares anywhere in the world!
   Mobile (Android) - Make trades, find brokers, update settings in a flash from anywhere with the ASM for Andriod App.
   API - removed from public release.
   
Changes:
   1:6 Account System - This will allow 1 user to support all 6 servers effectively, rather than 1 rank per global account. Each account will have a unique rank for each server allowing more from each account!
   Advanced Review Portfilo - See in depth stats about a investor in real-time from their portfolio, the most advanced part of the new 2.0!
   Renewed Calendar System - This new Calendar system will bring many new abilties to the Calendar, and allow simple, easy updates!
   Renewed Inbox/PM system - This new system will be AJAX supported, meaning in 100% real-time!
   reFaced Notifications - This updated feature will include stylish new notifications (slowy becoming visible to all users).
   
Security:
   Encypted Emails - This will encypt emails in our accounts database.
   API authorization - In order to use the API outside of ASM servers, the API must be enabled on your account.
   Mobile Authorization - In order to use Mobile features, it must be enabled on your account. (Includes Browsers/Android)

The past 12 hours a special script has been constructed to review each account, and tables, row by row to ensure the database cross-over is going to be no issue; it is currently running right now (and lagging my browser to hell), after it finishes reviewing it'll prepare the system for the database cross-over and start changing the tables and columns to the new format. To prevent data loss, or accidents the system will be 100% non-accessible during this time. In addition a test of our new email encryption system will be conducted on our beta-users accounts only. If it is deemed a success, this script will be executed on all the accounts, as well as all new accounts.

An email confirmation, and legal notice will be sent out, as this upgrade is to comply with new personal-information protection requirements. It is important that with in the next 12 hours if possible you ensure we have the latest and most current email on our system. In 16 hours, the script will be expected to be executed on the full accounts table. These emails will be expected at various times, the script will only update 1 email every 10 seconds to prevent an overload, thus your email can be expected at any given time tomorrow, if you do not get an email please alert us immediately.   

In this update, the system will also alert you when you Login to Argonath Stock Market if your account has had a failed-login attempt since your last Login, this option can eventually be disabled in the account settings and will alternatively be able to alert you via email in the coming weeks. As this is a 2.0 feature initially, we feel its an important security procedure to implement immediately.

After countless efforts to restore the database after the script encountered and error and started glitching the database; we have reassembled the database and restored the new data manually. The system is now back only and fully operational.

Note: Due to the new database format, we may have missed some sections of code to update; if you encounter any MySQL errors please report them immediately to the support section.

We're are glad to announce the tentative release date for Argonath Stock Market Version 2.0 for the date of July 10th, 2012. For much of the next week the system will be offline while our developers knock out the new front end systems. In addition following our July 10th release the SA:MP server businesses and all transactions will be frozen and reset, this is for the infamous RS.5 release, regardless if the server is released on its new expected release or not, our system will keep the sever on hold.

Glad to see this is working out, I've not been active in the community but I work closely with Ted IRL on various projects, and I've been seeing this being built and I'm impressed.
