$640 Million Jackpot - Is it worth it?

I'm not sure if other countries have its own lotteries, but this is something I would like to share and discuss the outcome if one of us win, how would you spend your money. Many of you would think that winning the lottery would bring good fortune, but it is a fool's luck to some who wished they never won the lottery in the first place.

Some would say that it's rigged, others think differently, but the point of this topic is ask the question: Is it worth it?

if I won the lottery... my plan would be to transfer it to a bank in Bermuda and live in Bermuda. When you win that much money, you can guarantee that every NGO in the world is going to be calling you, family members harassing you for cash. I would move to Bermuda, buy a small house, and live off the interest I make on that cash. Lay low for a while until gradually people stop trying to bum cash off me. People think it would be some amazing thing however the problems I have heard lottery winners face is incredible.

Is it worth it? I can't say. I mean, gambling is gambling. Canada regulates its gaming industry so much that even if you win half of it is taxed and at least you know the money is coming from the government. What I would do with the money I earn from the interest of that cash... I can't say I really know at this time.. but I don't buy lottery tickets so really no loss to me to even bother thinking too deeply about it.

The amount itself is pretty crasy, and whoever wins it is hopefully able to withstand the wave of 'good willing advisors' and ' lucrative business offers' that will come in.
So how would I spend this money ?
500 players per day on forums at $1 million leaves me 140 millions... probably not but its a thought.

Next try..
First I would ensure that my family has no worries for now and the future. This means making our houses free of debt, probably buying some new ones and building a base $10000 monthly from rent of properties.
A part would be set in to two trust funds for the children, so when they grow up they will have a fixed controlled income.
Next I would buy a contract with a data centre to keep up Argonath and Paruni for the next 20 years.
All of this would be orgainzed in such a way that if I go crazy and lose all money, this will remain so no matter what my family will have a stability.
By this time I doubt I will have spend more than $20 million, which leave still a hell of a lot of money to play with. Here are some projects:
- Hire a professional team to build Hand of Law.
- Finance projects for archeological research in Russia
- Chase mysteries around the world
- Buy Iceland so I can stop paying taxes and start receiving them

Like Moose said, I'd live off the interest and lay low for a while...maybe not even tell anyone, if possible! Maybe go to work a little, if it isn't too stressing, and chill out.

Oh, and I'd probably set up a standing order from my account to Argonath RPG, just because I love everyone!
