This is an idea to add an object that is all it is, it doesn't protect you that we know, but it can be used in situations of riots or whenever someone invents a random use for it.
Yeah wall infront of your face will bring you so much RP while somone is shooting you with combat.
Not everything is about shooting and killing.
I don't think it will look good at all
If you just attach it to a players hand yes it may look bad in places, when characters are running or if it's not held without a particular stance. You could simply attach it to the torso, but that looks odd.
